Chapter 6

" Lillian , your father is getting re married ."
My mouth dropped . I think it was hanging open cause I felt Mason reach over and try and close it .
"Do what !!! " Is all I managed to say .
These words had come from mason's mother .
"Lill, you have been in a coma for almost 3 months . "
Man , did he even bother to come see me ? My own father . he abandoned me when I needed him most . I soon realized that I was crying . Mason came over to me .
" Are you ok lill ? "
" Mason ,what about mom."
My mother and I were very close . I could bare to think about her being replaced by some woman I have never even met . "why would he do this ? "
Mason knew how I felt his father had died a few years back in an airplane crash on his way back from a business trip . His mother so remarried and he felt the same way . He came over and embraced me in one of his amazing bear hugs .
"Let's go talk to him lill."
He placed a tender kiss on the top of my head and he walked me out of the room .
