Chapter 10

"Lillian Carson Waters , answer me right now!"
Oh god , here come the tears . I could never handle when my father yelled at me. I felt a tear slide down my face. Mason walked up to say something to daddy , but before he could Logan stepped up.
" Dad, don't yell at Lill you know she can't handle it. You should be grateful she is alive!"
I saw Logan back up knowing daddy would hit him for talking to him like that. Instead I saw my father bow down with guilt. I approached for the first time in my life since mom died and wrapped my arms around him .
"Daddy , I need to tell you something."
" Lill, u have to go it is important."
" No, you are going to listen . You never listen to me!"
He walked over to the dinning room table and we all sat down. Mason turned pale, we both knew what we were in for. I was so nervous to tell my father that I though I was going to puke.
" Daddy, Mason purposed to me."
He didn't say anything he just walked over to me and kissed me on the forehead. I knew he was upset , but didn't want to hurt me.
