~Taylor's POV~
Rose and I bounded around the corner to Fonzi's. She was ahead, because I let her, and she looked back to see how far back I was.
She turned around and smashed into Hayes' back.
I saw the way that he looked at her. It's the same way I look at my girlfriend, Savannah.
I was not about to let that little player break my little sister's heart.
I walked over to Nash and Cam hoping that Rose and Hayes would end up being just friends. "Looks like they really hit it off," Nash smirks nudging me to look toward my little sister. She was laying on the ground still, but laughing hysterically I'm guessing at something Hayes said.
"Yeah, I guess," I responded.
~Rose's POV~
"So you're little Caniff!" Hayes exclaims hoisting me up of my haunches.
"That's me!" I said giggling.
"No kidding! You look so much like Taylor! You guys are almost identical except for one thing."
"Eyes," we both said at the same time. We both burst out laughing at the same time.
"Yeah, when we were little, he used to tell me he'd trade me for my blue eyes because he wanted them," I explained.
Hayes looked at me like I was crazy, but managed to let out a laugh too.
"Do you want to go inside?" He asked me, eyeing the boys who were already on their way in. I look over to Taylor and catch his glimpse. He cocks his head toward the door telling me to get inside.
"Sure," I said positioning myself in front of him. "I'LL RACE YOU!" I scream and dart for the door. He chased after me until we made it to the inside of Fonzi's.
"Your pretty fast you know," he commented, seeing that I beat him.
"Well I have to run two miles every day for cheer. I think I've built up enough endurance to run a block," I spat back.
"Cheer huh?"
"Yeah."
"Where do you do cheerleading?"
"ICE Allstars. And I'm guessing you do every other sport under the sun."
"Nah, just football."
"Well, I'll have to see you play. When does your season start up again?"
"August. When does you cheer start?"
"I'm actually in the middle of a season right now!" I have a competition tomorrow! It's pretty local if you want to check out real athletes," I say with a smirk.
"Well I'd love to," he responds with a smile. I look over to Taylor who smiles and waves Hayes and I over to him. We hop in line and order ice cream with the boys.
"I'll have a mint chocolate chip in a cone. Rose will have chocolate chip cookie dough in a cone with rainbow sprinkles," Taylor said to the lady at the counter.
"Awe Taylor! You remembered!" I exclaimed.
"I only have it drilled into my brain," he responded making all of us giggle.
"He used to sneak into the fridge in our hotel room in the middle of the night and eat all of my chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream," Cameron whispered in my ear.
We laughed. Cam, Hayes, and Nash ordered and we went to find a table to sit down at. Once we had finished our ice cream Taylor and I got into Cam's car with them and we drove to our house.
"Rose!" Tay yelled taking me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah?"
"The boys are going to stay in our spare rooms for a week. At the end of the week we have a surprise for you."
