There were no more shifts, thank god.
The diner opened and the kids ran everywhere. I tried to look normal as my waist was literally burning. Maybe I can ask my manager for assist. But then he'll ask how the heck did I get it.
He doesn't need to know right? Maria, she said to come to her. I wobbled my way with Mike by my side helping me stand. I got into the kitchen and got to Maria.
"Maria!" I said from across the room.
I got to her and she looked at me, "Why are you limping?" She asked.
"I need help, serious help." I told her.
Her eyes widened, did she know about the animatronics? I lifted up my shirt and showed the wound but kept it hidden, "I-I didn't know what to do."
"Oh my god, why didn't you go to the hospital?" Maria asked.
"I've never been...out of this diner. I don't have a home to go to." I told her.
"Oh, well just press and lay down, and hope it heals. If you can't go to the hospital then I don't know what else to do." Maria said quickly. I nodded and wobbled away.
I got back to the long seats and laid down. I could still feel the pain like before. I can't take life anymore, I seriously can't.
I eventually fell asleep and guess who was hovering over me, yup my manager.
"Sleeping again Vio?" He said.
"Well I don't want to die so yes." I replied.
"You don't die from working." He replied.
"Well you do die when people fucking stab you." I said.
He rolled his eyes and walked away. I looked at my wound, all it did was get worse. I finally decided to look for more useful tools. I got the first aid nearby and used some ointment to heal it then the bandage back on. It felt a little better.
All I have to do is work day shift, no more nightshift for me. I decided to do something so I wouldn't get fired, since I have no purpose now. I sat down and wiped the tables in front of me constantly. A group of kids started to play around me, and it wasn't easy ignoring them. A little girl stared at me,
"What's that?" She said pointing to my waist. I looked down, the bloody bandage was showing, "Are you ok?" She asked. I forced a smile, "It's nothing." I told her.
"Press against it, it'll stop the blood from coming out." She smiled and ran back to her friends.
The parties started to end, and I realized I had nowhere to stay and neither did Mike or Vincent. Vincent is most likely going to hang out and hide till everyone leaves. I'll be on the street, Mike can just go back to the toys and be at home. And that's exactly what Mike did,
"I'll go to the toys, get some answers." He said as he went into the office. I saw Vincent hide in a storage closet, then there was me. I walked outside with my uniform on and started to find an alleyway. It was freezing and the uniform didn't have sleeves, my luck. I quickly got to an alleyway and sat under the edge of a roof. I saw some thrown out cloth, guess they messed up on a design. I got it and tried to create warmth.
I got some thrown out cardboard and put it on the ground so I wouldn't face cold cement. I started to try and fall asleep till I saw a man walk down the alleyway to me. He put his hand out holding money, "It'll get better." He smiled. He left the money on the ground and left. I'm a homeless person, hating myself inside. I saw some thick thread, a golden rope that seemed to be used for roman costumes. I stretched towards it and my wound stung badly, stupid weather. Have to choose the worse times to be cold huh? I got the rope and held it, I tested its strength. I'm sure it can hold my body.
I looked at my wrist, I used to cut it with broken glass till now. I always didn't consider suicide, till I realized someone will take my place, that I'm not an individual. That I'm not needed...
Amethyst can't really ruin anything, and if she does I can come back as another form right? I just ignored the thought and tried to fall asleep...
