Telekinesis: Mateo's most used power is his ability to move objects with his mind. Using this, Mateo can levitate an entire building with ease, and tear apart objects on the molecular level. He's also used telekinesis to create force fields to block attacks, augment his own strength and speed, and achieve high-speed flight.
Flight: Mateo can use his telekinesis to make himself fly, he is fast enough in order to dodge attacks. He is also able to use his speed in order to speed blitz another Esper.
Astral Projection: Separates Mateo's soul from his body, letting him enter the minds and bodies of others.
Transference: Transfers some of Mateo's energy to another person, making them stronger depending on how much energy he gives them.
Psychic Energy Barriers: This is one of Mateo's main weapons for combat - he is able to create a psychic barrier in order to protect himself from his attacks (he can also stack the barriers in order to increase his defenses while in combat. He can block psychic and physical blows.
Chlorokinesis: By imbuing some of his power into plants, Mateo can make them grow and manipulate them to his will.
Curse Power: Enables the user to lay curses with varying effects.
Electrokinesis: Enables the user to generate and manipulate electricity.
Electronic Control: Enables the user to manipulate electronic devices and technology.
Healing: Enables the user to heal others using psychic power.
Matter Reconstitution: Enables the user to disassemble and reassemble objects.
Movement Prediction: Enables the user to accurately predict the movements and actions of those around them
Muscle Mass Expansion: Enables the user to increase one's muscle mass and thus greatly increase one's physical strength.
Pyrokinesis: Enables the user to generate and manipulate fire.
Shockwave Generation: Enables the user to release damaging shockwaves.
