(Y/n's POV)
The blinding lights, the loud cheering, blood staining the floor around me, most would be scared or disgusted of the blood covering my hands and knees. But to me its calming, its the only thing keeping me from killing everybody around me when I'm in a public place. This fighting, it's my therapy. Blood was dripping down my face, my nose is broken, its fine though, it will heal when I'm done with this match. I stand back up, the screaming in the background has faded, sounds more like white noise now. There's a man in front of me. Maybe a few steps ahead. But I can't charge him, I would lose immediately. He has a huge smirk on his face although there's blood dripping down his face as well. He is winning and he knows, I can't help the huge smirk that appears on my face, I want to laugh but I would just cough up blood if I did. He gets angry at the sight of a smirk on my face.
"YOU ENJOYING GETTING DESTROYED OR SOMETHING!" I broke his confidence. How pathetic. This is boring, he has the same seven moves and I've already figured them out. A sigh escapes my lips and I look to the side. He scoffs and starts charging me, I can see him out of the corner of my eye. He is going to tackle me, or try to. His arms go out wide and he jumps, right before he grabs me I spin around kicking my left leg up and nailing him in his right temple. His eyes roll back then shut. His body fly's to the side and lands with a loud thud. It's silent.
After the shock has subsided everyone is cheering and shouting for more blood. But I won't grant them that, he's down and that's the end of the fight. I look up into crowd of people surrounding the cage. They all look like they are trying to be these big gangster's, some are faking it and are actually uncomfortable. I'm scanning the crowd but stop on a women frozen in place staring at me. Her eyes are wide like she just solved the biggest mystery to ever exists. Then she scowls, her mood changed in a matter of seconds like she decided she hate me in those few moments. She had red hair that stood out in the crowd and piercing eyes. Smoking body though. Something about her set me on edge, she gives me chills. I broke eye contact leaving the fighting cage, some big dudes trying to recruit me most likely were trying to talk to me. I ignored them going straight to the locker room area. I was cleaning the blood off my face and hands when this gruffy man leans on the wall next to the sink staring at me.
"You seem to like hurting people, can I buy you a beer?" He seemed amused about something. "Hm, no you can not buy me a beer but you can buy me apple juice." I smirked at the confused look on his face. "So what is it you want?" I asked him, "I would like to recruit you to a place called Hydra."
(Nat's POV)
There was no doubt the person fighting in that ring earlier was my soulmate. Good thing the pain that I feel from them isn't permanent or I would have a broken nose right now. Still feel the throb of it though. I was shocked when I was watching the fight, every hit landed on them I felt, I didn't want to believe it. That a punk like these people was my soulmate, it's pathetic. I hate them already. When we made eye contact they looked at me like I was their prey. To bad they don't know I could probably beat their ass. I was trying to complete the mission but I found myself following my soulmate. I was standing by the doorway listening to them talk to someone. "Nat have you found anything?" Steve's voice filled my ear, I forgot I was on a mission for a second and was about to answer until the conversation between my soulmate and the man caught my ear. "I would like to recruit you to a place called Hydra." the man talking to my soulmate was recruiting her. "Tony." I said while trying to keep listening to the conversation going on in the other room. "Hm" "I found our Hydra agent. He is in the locker room I'll try to get a tracker on him.". I walk into the locker room casually making eye contact with my soulmate, they glare at me like they know I'm up to something and that I have been listening in.
The Hydra agent stops talking noticing my soulmate wasn't paying attention anymore. I notice a towel on top of the locker above them and take my chance. I walk up to them and reach for the towel "Sorry I just need to grab my towel." while reaching I casually lay my hand on the Hydra agents shoulder. But before my hand can touch his shoulder my soulmates hand slaps mine away. They grab the towel above the locker while the Hydra agent looks at them confused. "This towel is mine actually, so why do you need it?" they are smirking knowing they had caught me in a lie. The Hydra agents eyes widen then look at me suspiciously while backing up a step. "Sorry but me and my new friend need to get going." my soulmate starts to walk off and I know I have to do something to save my cover. "Sorry about the mistake I just wanted an excuse to talk to.." I left a pause signaling them to fill it with their name. They eye me carefully then turn around and keep walking taking the Hydra agent with them. Before they leave though I hear them say "(Y/n)." without turning around. The door shuts behind them.
"Nat did you get the tracker on him?" Tony's voice fills my ear. "Something like that." I had placed the tracker on (Y/n)'s back when they weren't paying attention. I turned off my earpiece standing in the locker room alone. "(Y/n)...".
