(Y/n's POV)
After I had left the fighting club with the man we walked into the alleyway. "So have you thought about my offer?", the man broke me out of my thoughts. "I have. I just don't know much about this place your recruiting me to so I don't think its the best idea to accept." he looked at me with a pleased look in his eyes. "You know I watched you fight and knew I wanted you, you were skilled in more ways then just fighting and I could tell." he pulled out his phone and handed it to me. The phone had information about me on it. I laughed lightly, "You've been watching me longer then just today haven't you?" I handed his phone back to him. He tucked his phone back into his jacket pocket, "Can you blame me? I needed to know more about you before I recruited you.". I narrowed my eyes at him, "Oh yeah? Care to share what you found out?". He looked at me and smiled, "Just that you need a better job and I can offer that." I knew from the way he was talking he had more information then that, I needed to be careful.
"What happens if I don't accept this, oh so generous offer?", his eyes darken and his smile falls. "I believe you will accept my offer so I don't think you will have to find out, but if you do decide to decline, maybe I can recruit....sorry what was their name. Ah. (Y/bf/n)." a growl makes its way to the back of my throat and the man smirks. "So what's it going to be?", he smiles big and puts his hand's in his pant pockets. I was probably going to accept his offer no matter what considering the benefits he had mentioned. But now, he has threatened my best friend, I'm trapped. "I think its a great opportunity. I'll join.", he pats me on the shoulder like he was congratulating me. "Wonderful choice, but I hope you don't mind the uncomfortable trip to the facility.". I look at him confused then focus into my hearing. That's when I notice the sound of quiet breathing behind me. My eyes widen and the man smirks. Before I can turn around and determine who was there everything goes black.
(Nat's POV)
"So what do you mean you got a tracker on someone but not the Hydra agent?" Tony asked like I had made the biggest mistake ever. "I mean you didn't just put it on a random person did you?" Sam asked me with slight sarcasm in his voice. We had made it back to the compound and were discussing what had happened in the locker room at the fighting club. "The person I put the tracker on was being recruited by the Hydra agent. They caught me before I could place the tracker on the actual Hydra agent so I put it on them.". Tony looked back at the screen which was showing the location of the tracker. "But how do you know they are actually going to Hydra?" Steve looked at me with a straight face. I shrugged and looked at the screen, "You could call it a hunch.".
After the meeting I went to the training room at the compound. I had a lot of thoughts going around in my head and I needed to train to get my mind off it. The main thought going through my head though was the pain I got on the back of my head while leaving the fighting club, like my soulmate got hit in the back of the head, hard. I had started punching the punching bag when Clint walked up beside me. He was looking at me like he knew something was up. "You going to tell me the other part of the story you left out? Natasha Romanoff does not work based on hunches." I stopped punching and looked at him. "The person I put the tracker on is my soulmate." Clint stares at me for a few seconds before he starts jumping around like a kid who got candy. "YOU FOUND YOUR SOULMATE!" he stops jumping after a second and looks at me disappointed, "Why do you look like that's the worst news ever?". I continue punching again, "Maybe because my soulmate is a low life and about to be a Hydra agent.". He made a "O" face and looked down. He stood there for a few more seconds before he looked back up with hope in his eyes. "Well maybe they are being forced to join, you know Hydra is not very accepting of being declined.". I glared at him for a second before going back to punching, "Either way they are still a low life.". Clint looked at me with sympathy in his eyes and I hated it. "Well at least tell me their name. You did get their name right?", he put a hand on my shoulder stopping me from punching. "(Y/n). Happy?", he took his hand off my shoulder and smiled knowing it was best not to say anything right now.
Jarvis's voice was what broke the tension in the room, "Mr. Stark has called a meeting, would you like me to tell him you are coming?". "Yes, thank you Jarvis." Clint and I left the training room and headed to the conference room.
I took a seat and noticed that the screen was still on the location of the tracker I put on (Y/n). "The reason I have called a meeting is because the tracker Nat has placed is no longer moving." Tony pointed to the tracker dot. The dot was in the middle of nowhere which definitely raised suspicions. "So I sent one of my drones to show us what we are dealing with. It should be sending us video footage any second now." Tony sat down in the empty seat at the front once he finished talking. Just like Tony said a live video showed up on the screen showing us what the location looked like. There was in fact a building there that was not shown on the map. The building looked like an old factory but it had modern vehicles and new gates surrounding it. You could tell from the footage that the building was heavily guarded.
"Jarvis scan the building and give us a layout of what we are working with here." Tony said breaking the silence. Seconds later a hologram of the building formed on the table in front of us. We all leaned forward trying to see any weak points or how we could get in. "Alright so when we find a way in we will come up with a plan then take down another Hydra facility. Sound like a plan?" Steve looked at all of us as we nodded. "Good." we all looked back to the hologram and got to work.
