Chapter 3

Avery's house^^

I had absolutely no Idea what to do. Was I really being watched?!!?

I looked out my window and I swear I saw someone in the tree right next to my huge balcony. I locked the it, closed the curtains and ran straight down stairs. I grabbed my phone and dialed Louis' number with my shaking hands. I slid my back against the kitchen counter until I was sitting on the floor hugging my knees with tears streaming down my face. Finally Louis answered "Hello?" He said "Louis," I cried "Avery, Is everything okay?!," He asked "Louis I got a text from an unknown number saying that they were watching me, and I swear there's someone in the tree next to my balcony," I cried "fuck, I'll be right over babe, stay where you are," he said "Please hurry Lou, I'm scared," I said sobbing into my knees "I promise I'll be there baby," he said before hanging up.

After about 5 minutes I heard a knock on my door. I swung the door open to see Louis standing there. "Louis," I cried wrapping my arms around his neck, "shhh it's okay baby, I'm here," he said stepping inside and locking the door behind him."Why are they doing this to me?" I asked him "It's jake," he said clenching his jaw "he says I owe him money and if I don't give it to him he'll take you, but don't worry I'll keep you safe," he says looking my straight in the eyes "Promise?" I ask "Promise," he answered.

"I'm scared Lou," I said "Look baby, I promise as long as I'm here nothing will happen," he said while stroking my hair and wrapping his arms around my waist. "We can sleep down here if it makes you feel safer," he said with concern in his eyes "okay," I murmured.

We went to my living room to my huge couch that could fit at least 15 people, I got us blankets and pillows and we layer down. "Thanks Lou," I said as he wrapped his arms around my waist pulling my to his chest and tangling our legs together. "no problem love," he said kissing my hair. With him I actually felt safe. Before I knew it I was drifting off to sleep..

I woke up to the sound of a window shattering up stairs.
"Louis, wakeup!!!!!" I said "What is it?" He asked "A window shattered upstairs," "stay here," he said grabbing the nearest weapon and going up stairs.

I just sat on the couch and cried. I might die in a few days. I'm too young to die. I just sobbed into a pillow till Louis came down stairs holding a brick with a note attached. He set it down and walked over to me. "It will all be okay," he said wrapping his arms around my waist and holding me close while I sobbed into his chest.

"What's on the brick?" I asked once I calmed down. "It's just a damn note," he said handing it to me.

It said with a picture of me in my pajamas last night.

"Great now they are fucking stalking me," I sighed getting frustrated

"I know what can get your mind off of things," smirked Louis walking closer to me...
