Christiana POV : I was carrying baked chicken in a tray.
When I made my way to the dining table my breathe hitched in my throat.
There in our dining table was sitting the man who has been continuously in my mind since 10 days.
I was so shocked that I came to my sense when my mom called my name to take the food to dining table.
I went to the table with shaking hand and legs because if I say I was nervous that would be an understatement.
There he was sitting in a dark blue suit paired with white color shirt and two buttons of his shirt was undone. He was looking so handsome.
When I reached the table I kept the tray and sat in opposite chair from his.
I could see he was looking my way.
But I was so nervous I couldn't raise my eyes to look at him.
But I was also thankful that he was here instead of some other guy.
When everyone settled in their chair, my dad introduced us. My dad told me his name is Xavier knight he is CEO of knight inc.
My dad also introduced me to Mr. and Mrs. knight. I said hello to everyone.
Then we started our dinner. In the middle of having my dinner I reached to grap water jar but coincidentally Xavier also happen to do the same think and our hand brushed against each other.
At that time I felt like a jolt of electricity went through my body and I raised eyes to see he was looking at me.
When our eyes met I felt like he was looking into my soul through my eyes.
We happen to come out from our imagination to our dining table after hearing our name from our respective parents .
At that time I was blushing and I am sure I was looking as red as tomato. And I could see there was small smile in his lips.

Xavier's POV: After finishing our dinner we went to the living room.
Mr. Adams asked me and christiana to go somewhere to talk so she took me to their garden.
Their garden was beautiful but not more than christiana herself .

She was walking ahead of me and I was following her, when we reached the garden, she turned to face me.
She was nervous that I can say because she was continually fidgeting with her fingers.
When she didn't speak I cleared my throat to get her attention.
When she looked at me I asked her if she remember me, she nodded her head and I could see her blush. I was happy she remembered me.
Than I asked her if she is okey with the marriage thing.
She did not say anything for a minute and I was panicking thinking she would say no but to my suprise she smiled and said she wants to know me and wants to see where it goes.
I was in cloud nine when she told me she also wants to know about me and wants to see if we can be together in future.
So I went forward to catch her hand so that I could assure her that she will not regret her decision.

I was glad she didn't react negatively to my touch.
When I catched her hand in mine, I don't know why but I felt happy and I just wanted to hug her but I pushed that thought at the back of my head because if I do hug her now she might think I am some kind of creep.
There is the saying first impression is the last impression so I wanted my first impression to be good in front of her.
So I just catched her hand and said that I also want to know about her and I also want to see if we could be together.
