Chapter 10- Son and father

Guren was the first to snap out of his daze. "Do you know how worried I was ?!". Guren suddenly felt long streams of tears dripping down his cheeks. Dropping his sword running over to hug his son for the first time in a while, not caring that his son just blocked his attack.

The soldiers witnessing Gurens current state, looked flabbergasted while at the same time staring with interest at the Duke and his son. Society viewed the duke and his son's relationship as very cruel to each other, but in reality, that's how they expressed their affection to each other.

Mikaela who witnessed a father and son love scene, couldn't handle what he was seeing.

"Yuu! It's danger-"

Before even finishing his warning, appearing out of the shadows stood a huge army of human-looking creatures with sharp-looking ears, out of the group stood out a beautiful looking man with silver hair and long thick lashes.

"Yuu, it's dangerous to just go running off like that" "Mika was in trouble, so I had to save him"

Speaking in an angelic voice, at the same time walking towards Yuu.
Seeing the silvered haired man stride towards Yuu, Mikaela immediately blocked the man from getting any closer to Yuu.

"Long time no see... Mikaela", ruffling Mikaela's head affectionately before walking a few steps to Yuichiro and doing the same.

"This wasn't what was planned but it's fine".
Yuu and Doji ( Shikama), had created a plan before even thinking of coming to the city where the imperial demon army was located.

The green-eyed raven was seated on a fancy designed looking chair located as the centre of attention. All the fraction leader gazed at him, as the raven sat there elegantly. Yuu was trained by his private teachers to sit in a mannered way.

Shikama had called in an emergency meeting, gathering all the Elve fraction leaders.

"Let us now make a plan", one of the fraction leaders spoke, grabbing all the attention from Yuu to him.

( Back to present )
"This wasn't what was planned but it's fine".

"Vampires! Humans! And Elves! I, Yuichiro Ichinose, commander of demon army division 2. Would like us all to sign a peace treaty! I don't care what you all are after, but this war has to end. I know it has affected you all, but moving on is the best thing, if we keep on going on like this all of us will die".

Hearing what came out of Yuu's mouth, Mikaela was amazed. Never had he ever thought that Yuu would act like a grown-up.
"I agree! Only because he is my trusted family!", Yuu had heard this clearly. Looking at Mikaela, Yuu smiled like a happy idiot. The vampires had found this unexpected of the cold Mikaela.

"I agree!"
"Hmm.... how amusing, I would say I would agree"
"I smelt something strange from that raven...... but I will agree on this", one of the high ranking leaders stated at the raven sceptically before slowly agreeing.
