As soon as I woke up the next morning I already knew I had a cold. My body was laced with cold shivers and my throat was achingly sore. I turned over in my small bed, looking across the room to see Sasha starting to stir from the bed across from mine.

I look away from my roommate and out the small window at the end of the room. From outside, the sun was starting to rise, signaling the start of a new day. I quickly looked away from the light, a pounding headache taking place along my skull and temples. I sniffed one, swiping my sleeve under my runny nose, and slammed my head back into my pillow with a groan.

I felt like utter shit.

I don't move my head when I hear Sasha wake up with a loud groan and start to pad across the room, dressing quickly to head down for breakfast. All of a sudden she whips the blankets off of my shivering body.

"Y/n! Get up!" She says loudly, not yet noticing the state I was in. I slowly turn my head to the side and glared at her, my eyes narrowing.

"No."

Sasha doesn't take this for an answer as she slaps my calf. "Don't be difficult Y/n, let's go," she says, sounding stern, knowing at the same time if we didn't hurry all the good food would be gone.

I glare harder at her, not moving from my position. "Are you deaf? I said no." I ground out. Sasha's eyes widen but then she takes a step back when she notices my runny nose and bags under my eyes.

"Y-You're sick," she whispers out, terror clear in her voice. She backs up a step as I sit up and grab my covers from out of her hands, settling myself back down on my bed.

"Yeah, no shit," I say with a menacing gaze.

After my actions the girl goes to sprint straight out of the room, only to run into the still-closed door. "S-Sorry!" She yells out, apologizing for no reason, then hurriedly flies out of the room.

I just grunt in reply and get cozied up again in my blankets, thankful for the peace and quiet and the warmth of the covers. Though the short moment of silence was interrupted when Mikasa calmly opened the door and stalked over towards me, Connie, Sasha, and Armin hiding right behind her silently.

I roll my eyes and tilt my head away from them, not caring for whatever shenanigans they were going to do. Suddenly I feel someone tug on my covers lightly. I just pull them onto them tighter, making the soft linens cover my head completely.

"Go away," I grumble out, my headache and chills making me even more agitated with each passing second.

Mikasa just pats my shoulder. "C'mon, Y/n. You need to eat."

"No."

It's quiet for a moment until Sasha yells out. "Mikasa, don't!" But I guess it's too late when Mikasa rips the blankets off me.

I still for a moment, hating how the coldness of the room chilled me to the bone, but slowly, I sat up and glared at all of them. Sasha and the others, their faces holding expressions of fear, stayed behind Mikasa who gathered up all my clothes in her hands.

"Y/n, get dressed and go eat, then you can go back to sleep," she says monotonously, but adds a small warm smile for effect. She walks up slowly to me and plops my clothes on my bed, her hand going to my forehead seconds later. "You're burning up," she says with a frown.

I just give her a blank face as I stand up without a word, brushing off her hand. Everyone watches with wide eyes as I don't snap at her as I would normally do, and noticing this, I whip my head towards them with a sneer.

"Are you going to stay and watch, or leave?" I growl out, clutching my clothes tighter in my hands. All of them, besides Mikasa, rushes out of the room- Sasha hitting her head on the doorpost once again- and flies down the halls.
