The journey

Beforehand..

Nicaya!!!!!,that's the first thing I hear this morning... my mom barged into my room and woke me up,like she hadn't already.

I just remembered it was the first day of school,wow I'm in high school now...Do I finally get a real life boyfriend.Not that I have a fake one.

I wake up brush my teeth,shower,eat and floss.With braces flossing is a must.I head to the bus stop and wait,I was the first one there and there was some creepy white lady following me all suspicious,I ignored it until I noticed my hair wasn't straightened.

Oh My God!!!Everyone is going to freak if they see my hair,especially Emily she said  it made look like a Sasquatch,she also said my hair was to dark not that I mind.Wish it were a little lighter though.

I am sprinting back to my house until I see my bus coming,wow I'm the only kid at this stop I quickly run back and get in and keep my head covered with my hand,if I had a hoodie it'd help I have to wear a certain school uniform.It's a white polo T-shirt and a green skirt we could also wear jeans but only on Friday's. Part of the uniform was a green blazer

Thankfully I was the first person to be picked so no one saw me like this,except the old creepy woman, she ran off when she saw me running.Don't know why.

I use hair tie from my bag in case of emergencies like this,no matter what I did the hair kept getting loose.We get to a stop and some people come in,I notice a face I haven't seen before.

He has chocolate brown skin,the most gorgeous brown eyes,and hair just like mine,wow.He goes to the back taking a slight glance at me sending me butterflies until I realize my hair is out of the band.

Well he might have thought I was cute,or my hair was bad,but he has puffy hair too.At this point I'm so nervous cause he hasn't taken his eyes of me.

We finally get to my best friends stop I've missed her so much,my parents said I couldn't have her over cause she said I'd be pretty if I were white,as a joke though...was it.I think it was.At least we're together again.

The next thing I know my head is being ducked by her.What's going on,YOUR HAIR!!!!I know I never realized it could actually look good without being straightened,actually it's the opposite of good she said.Kind of hurt me even though I knew but wanted to hear what she'd say about it

She gives me one of her bucket hats with the schools logo.It's kind of hard to fit considering how thick my hair was but it worked.

Next thing I know Emily's trying to fit all my hair in the hat.It doesn't look like it's working so I just tell her to quit it.

NICAYA!!!!WHY THE FUCK DOES YOUR HAIR LOOK LIKE A SASQUATCH AND ON THE FIRST DAY!!!!I know it was an accident,I forgot to straighten it.

We'll just don't take the hat off.ok,by the way your hair looks so good,I wish mine was like yours.Me too she said,I then look back to see if the guy was still staring and we made eye contact.I quickly broke away feeling so shy.

OKAY FIRT CHAPTER YAYYY I started this book a long time ago and only wrote this chapter.I'm planning to continue it so will be releasing more chapters,it's not perfect Ik but I'm hoping to get better so pls comment.

This story isn't really based off of my story but I will be writing one on mine after finishing this book<33
