As she was sitting there crying, I couldn't help myself and I slowly leaned forward, looking at Eliza to ask for her permission. She just barely nodded and I leaned in the rest of the way in.
The kiss was short and gentle, but when I pulled away she was smiling really big. I smiled back and she giggled.
I leaned back against the wall. "Wanna skip the rest of the day?" I asked, even though we both knew the day had just started.
"Sure, why not?" She answered, standing up. I stood up too, picked up my stuff, and walked out of the bathroom, to my car as Eliza followed.
Once we got to my car, I looked at Eliza. "Where you wanna go?" I asked. She shrugged. "My house?" I continued, and she just nodded before climbing in the car and buckling her seatbelt. I did the same before starting the engine and pulling out of the parking lot, heading torwards my house.
