I look across my room and see the diamond necklace you once gave me. It shone with the fading light of the sun as it set behind the trees.
Beautiful diamonds in perfect line one behind the other, decorating the green heart in the middle, which you compared to my eyes. Eyes that made you want to loose yourself in forever.
At first I had no clue what you were talking about. I mean you were the one that fell in love at first sight. With me. The luckiest girl on earth. For me it took a while, but once I understood, I lost myself in yours.
So I write this letter to thank you, for your unconditional love that I never deserved. For the happy years you granted me and last and not least. I want to thank you for teaching me the biggest lesson of my life.
