[The scene changes to the next morning]

The next morning, Thomas could hardly contain his excitement.

THOMAS: Is it these ones? Is it those? Which trucks are there, Edward?

EDWARD: Those trucks Thomas but wait I need to tell you something I...

THOMAS: I know. I know. I have to be coupled up before I go. You don't have to tell me. I've learned my lesson.

[He bump them]

TROUBLESOME TRUCKS: Ow! Ow! Oi! Give it a rest!

EDWARD: Troublesome Trucks can play tricks on you, Thomas. It's not the same as in the yard. They'll push you off the rails if you're not careful.

EAGLE: Push engines off the rails? That doesn't sound nice and it sounds dangerous.

Thomas: Don't be silly. (whistles) You and Edward worry too much, Eagle. Like Henry.

[The song Troublesome Trucks begins playing as Thomas struggles to leave first but soon gets on his way]

The engines always think they are so clever
And so they like to bump the trucks around
They bump them in the sidings, they bump them in the yards
They better beware, they better take care
They better be on their guard...

EDWARD: Thomas! Be careful!

EAGLE: He'll be in trouble soon!

[Thomas continues along the Sodor Suspension Bridge]

Thomas pulls the trucks along the line
He's happy and he thinks it's going fine
The trucks all start to moan
They rattle and they groan
Look out, Thomas!
Watch out, Thomas!
That's a warning sign!

THOMAS: Come along, come along!

[They soon reach Gordon' Hill]

Before long, Thomas comes to Gordon's Hill
It's hard work and he really has to pull

TROUBLESOME TRUCKS: Hold back! Hold back!

But soon he's at the top
And then he just can't stop

TROUBLESOME TRUCKS: On! On! On!

The trucks go faster still!

[Thomas scream as he speeds down the hill]

Because those Troublesome Trucks will get the engines every time,
Troublesome Trucks will run the engines off the line.
They push them here, push them there, until they go too fast,
Then they push them once again, laughing while they crash...

Troublesome Trucks will get the engines every time,
Troublesome Trucks will run the engines off the line.
They don't care how big they are, to them it's just a game...
Those Troublesome Trucks, will get them all the same

[Thomas stop at the buffers]

THOMAS: That was a close one. Now I know why they're called Troublesome Trucks. I should have let Edward tell us before we left.

THE FAT CONTROLLER: Thomas, what are you doing here and why did you, Connor and the Irelanders coming so fast?

THOMAS: I've brought Edward's trucks for him, sir but they were pushing us.

THE FAT CONTROLLER: You've a lot to learn about trucks, little Thomas. That's why I ask Edward to bring these trucks and not you. If you're not prepared to be patient and learn how to do things properly, I'II have to keep you in the shed.

THOMAS: (gasps) What?! No sir. Please sir. I want to learn. I want to be a Really Useful engine.

The Fat Controller was not just cross with Thomas.

[The scene changes back to Knapford]

He was cross with Edward and Eagle too. He told both his engines that they have to stay in the yard until Thomas can learn as much about trucks as Edward.

THOMAS: I'm sorry, Edward. And I'm sorry to you as well, Eagle. This is all my fault.

EDWARD: Never mind, Thomas. At least we're working together again.

EAGLE: Yes, that's a good thing. Look on the bright side. Don't worry, Thomas. I'm sure everything will work out eventually.

THOMAS: Who's meant to be taking these coaches?

[Then he suddenly realizes as does Eagle as it starts to rain]

THOMAS: (gasps) Henry!

[He starts to reverse as he whistles]

EDWARD: Thomas, where are you going now? You're meant to be staying in the yard just like The Fat Controller said so.

EAGLE: Thomas! Stop!

[Eagle after him as the thunder cracks. The scene changes to the gang heading to Tidmouth Sheds to find Henry]

Thomas was hurrying back to Tidmouth Sheds to find Henry.

[Thomas looks around and suddenly two workmen open the doors of Henry's berth, revealing Henry cowering inside]

EAGLE: There he is! Cowering in his berth! Thomas! What were you thinking?!

Thomas: I need to get Henry out of the sheds so he can pull his train. Do you want the passengers to be kept waiting?

EAGLE: Well, not really. We better get him out.

THOMAS: Henry, your passengers are waiting!

[He and Eagle enter the berth. Henry doesn't move]

HENRY: You take the train, Thomas. You like pulling trains.

THOMAS: No Henry, it's your train. And besides, Edward, Eagle and I have to stay in the yard.

HENRY: Well, I have to stay in the shed. It's raining, Thomas. A lot.

THOMAS: Henry, it's not as dangerous as you believe it to be.

EAGLE: Yeah. Henry it's harmless droplets of water.

TTHOMAS: And besides, don't you want to pull your train? Don't you want to hurry along the tracks like...

[A drop of water hits Henry and he yelps]

HENRY: Ah!

EAGLE: Henry calm down. Rain is harmless.

THOMAS: It's only water, Henry. Come on. Just little drops of water. That's what rain is. Water.

[Another drop hits Henry]

HENRY: Eh, like I put in my boiler?

THOMAS: Exactly. Your passengers are waiting, Henry.

[Thomas exits to show Henry what he means]

THOMAS: See? Only water. It washes right off.

HENRY: (chuckles nervously and gulps)

[Henry cautiously exits the sheds then smiles and laughs]

HENRY: (laughs and whistles) Only water. Just water!

EAGLE: See? It's not harmful at all.

HENRY: You're right, Eagle. It's just water.
