You have to write the Eulogy.

You spend all night trying to write something good. But your mind is scattered in places, you can't think straight. Your mind lingers around that one question.
That doubt in your mind. You don't know what it is. Even though you might know, there are no words to describe it to others. You knew something was wrong. But what?

As you mind tries to answer that question, you tear up another page of what seemed like a disappointment.

"Ugh, I wanna write something good for Joon. But I can't think of something good." You murmur to yourself.

You then start writing it all again. But midway through you don't feel satisfied and you scribble it all off.

Not that what you wrote wasn't good but it didn't seem to do enough justice to joon. He deserved the world. How were you supposed to explain what kind of person he was in a speech?

You couldn't write something good and the sun was already rising.

"I'll come up with something." You say, half asleep.

You lay on the bed, closing your eyes. Still trying to come up with something good to write. "He would be so disappointed in me right now." you say as you finally drift off to sleep.

You wake up three hours later as you realise that you are going to be late. You quickly freshen up and get ready for the funeral.

You still haven't prepared the eulogy.

As you reach there you see that fans, reporters and a lot of people have gathered near the church. You can see a lot of people crying and mourning the loss. Fans loved him, the reporters loved him, everyone did. He deserved all of the love he could get.

Then why?

Why would anyone think of killing him?

This was getting more and more twisted everyday.

Suddenly you feel the pressure that lies on you. You have to deliver a speech that would speak for all these people here. You have to portray the feelings of all these people.

How will you do it? You haven't even prepared it.

You head inside, escorted by manager Sejin.

As you head inside, you see a lot of familiar faces. Many K-pop idols, a few pop stars. But the one that stands out the most to you is the face of Korea's former president. He was also present there. As if the you weren't stressed enough. The pressure on you just rose.

But the boy's aren't here yet. They are coming with Namjoon.

You are not ready.

You are not ready to see him again.

They finally reach the church. As they enter inside, you can see that the boys have been crying a lot. Their eyes say it. Their eyes are red. They try to keep a straight face as they place the coffin down.

Everyone lines up and starts placing gifts and flowers near his coffin as they take one last look at him.

It's finally time for your speech. You face all the people in the church, not knowing what to say.
You could hear your heart beating.

"Good morning everyone. I am y/n, a close friend to Namjoon."

You look at his photo that lies on top of his casket. Looking at him you get this sudden urge to speak as if he's right there cheering you on and motivating you.

"I wanted to write a beautiful speech for him. I spent all night trying to write about him. I couldn't. Now I'm realizing that words, no matter how beautiful they are would never do justice describing him. He was a pure soul. He was an angel in form of a human. He had the kindest heart and was filled with talent.
He liked being in nature, reading books, talking long walks, cycling. He seemed like a person straight out of books. It was and is almost impossible to not like him. When I first met him, I didn't think we'd become so close. It felt like a blessing being his friend. On the days I had hard time with things, he'd always be by my side plans cheer me on. I know if he's seeing us right now, he would be proud of all of us for going through this hard time with such bravery. As I said, I wasn't prepared for this speech but looking at him right there gave me courage to speak.
So if I had to say something to him right now, I would say Thank-you. Thank-you for being my motivation. Thank-you for being my friend. Thank-you for existing and thank-you for being my idol. Rest in peace Namjoon.

You tear up, you had no idea what you just said. You only knew that you said what you felt.

There was silence in the church. It probably wasn't good you think as you step away for the service to be continued. Then the former president walks up-to you with tears and his eyes as he shakes you hand and says, "It was beautiful."

As he walks away, all the boys embrace you in a group hug.
They all have tears in their eyes and a faint smile on their faces.

You finally feel at ease.

When the service is over, you walk up to Namjoon's grave.
"Did I do well? Did you like it? Thank-you for being by my side again today. I'll always visit you when I need advice."

"Y/n?" Manager Sejin calls out to you.

"The court sent a notice asking you to come." He looks worried.

"Why!? I thought we were done with the trial."

"Yeah, well apparently they have gathered more evidence against you."

"What evidence?" What did they find?

"I have no idea. For now you have to be in house arrest."

You sigh, it's probably another stupid thing.

"Okay" you say as you head to the car.
