Nico pulls me into the cave and holds me against his chest. "why did you do that?" I asked. He doesn't respond and lets me go. I stand there shocked, not being able to move. When I "come to", I walk out of the cave. As I step out, I look in the direction of the woman and see that she's no longer there. I sigh and decide to check out the lake.
When I get to the edge of the lake, I notice all of the wildlife surrounding me. I close my eyes and listen to the croaking of the frogs, the chirping of the birds, and the humming of the insects' wings. I open my eyes to see that a small paddle boat now sits at the edge to the lake, calmly bobbing up and down as the ripples from the frogs jumping into the water causing tiny waves to form. I chuckle softly as a frog hops onto the edge of the sea craft. Out of curiosity, I step into the boat and make my way to the center of the lake.
As I arrive to what I believe is the center, I carefully stand up and look around to see another vast length of trees going almost completely around the lake. Suddenly a strong wind came out of no where and I was knocked out off the boat. my eyes slam closed as I prepare to hit the water. as I go under, i open my eyes to see the ceiling of my bedroom and that I am soaking wet. I look to my right and see Katie holding an empty water bottle. "Gosh it took you ling enough." she said. "Its almost time for school so get up and get dressed."
"Ok mom" I say. I got up to get dressed and started thinking about my dream. 'I've never had the same dream two nights in row, how strange' I thought. After I dress, I grab an apple as I head out the door and wait for the bus. There are many things that confuse me abut the dream. Why did it reoccur, and who was she?
