CHAPTER THREE

"You are so dead,- wait are you hurt?" June, her co-worker asked worryingly as Kiwon made her way inside and to clock in. Her co-workers eyed the black haired girl as she got ready for work as quickly as she could.

"Hey, you limped your entire way here, are you okay?"

Kiwon only ignored the worried comments. This day was not important to not only to Andy, not to her as well. If she made a good impression on the historian, whoever they are could help her become one herself. If the person was credible from what Andy told the staff over and over again. Then she could get this person as a reference, and that would he amazing to have on her resume.

She was barley being paid enough from her job at the museum alone to keep her apartment. The babysitting for Allen only helped a enough to get essentials. She wanted better, and she wouldn't allow her stupid side stop her from giving the best tour of her life.

"Kiwon Shin!!"

"Yep, she is dead."

"I told you!"

Kiwon sighed as she heard the stomping of her boss' shoes. He was angry, very angry. She could obviously tell from his tensed posture, his furrowed eyebrows, the way he looked like he wanted to throw her to the lions. It was safe to say she was going get at least yelled at by him, if not she was going to be fired for being late on a day like this.

"Kiwon how many times have I told you, and the rest of the staff how important today was. I want you to answer me, tell me how many times I have said that today was a very important day. Yet today is the day you decided to slack off and be late!"

"Sir, I am sorry. I ran into a few big obstacles when on transit to work." Kiwon spoke in a calm tone, even though she was on the verge on a panic attack on the inside. Yelling was a trigger of hers; she felt as if she was on the verge of crying at the very moment. However she wanted to show some kind of resilience to her boss.

"You wouldn't have been late if you cared for this job. Maybe you-"

"Excuse me? I'm here to evaluate the museum?"

Quiet took over after the new person entered the conversation. The new guy had a soft yet confidence voice. He had brown mid length hair, that contrasted well with his light brown sweater with a white button up underneath, and black dress pants; a black belt with a gold buckle holding them up. The man definitely had a good fashion sense. He even had his ears pierced with a few sliver studs and rings in them, though that didn't make him look unprofessional at all.

The man to say at least, looked like he meant business, and he definitely had a commanding aura despite the fact one could say he was under the average height for a male. Andy froze up, knowing he just created a bad look for himself in front of him when he was caught yelling at his employee. To say he was embarrassed was an understatement.

"Mr. Kim."

"Can I have my tour?" Even though he just arrived, the historian could tell how the boss treated others. It honestly annoyed him in such a way. Especially since he could tell why she was late, by the way she was standing.

"Miss Shin."

For his tone alone, she could tell he was still mad at her. Kiwon glanced between the two before slowly making her way from her still livid boss to the much calming aura of the historian. He also glanced back the manager before focusing forward as the two now walked together. To say she was nervous was an understatement, she almost felt dizzy from unusually eventful her day has been. However she needed to realign her head to her shoulders and focus on the task at hand.

"Where do you want to start, sir?" She asked, now in what one would call work mode. Kiwon now stood up straight and was ready to focus.

"How about your name?" She was caught off guard, she had her name tag on, but he wanted her to introduce herself. It felt heart warming, almost foreign to have such decency given to her.

"I'm Shin Kiwon, sir." He gave her a warm smile, one that caused her to smile back. He held out his hand for her to shake, she took a moment before wrapping her hand around his. "My name is Kim HongJoong, it is lovely to meet you."
