Chapter 13: Underwater Temple

They didn't attack him because he was holding Mira in his arm but they tried to chase him, sadly they couldn't, the guy was just to fast.

They couldn't do anything but look at the flying silhouette to slowly disappear from the sight. Once it's out of their sight they go back to the castle to report what happened.

Asta woke up from his slumber due to his exhaustion in the battle, he was greeted by the wizard king's attendant, Marx.

He and Asta go to the telepathy room to nullify the protection spell of the captives in order to investigate the recent attack on the main city of clover kingdom.

When they got inside. Julius, the wizard king is already in and just waiting for them to arrive. He bombarded Asta with questions about the magic of the enemy.

He was stopped by Marx his attendant and carry on to their current situation. Asta tap his magic nullify sword on the captives' head and Marx's magic worked.

They saw who was involved in the invasion. Julius was disappointed to what he saw and Asta couldn't also believe what he saw.

On the side of the captains, they are inside their meeting room waiting for the captain of Golden Dawn to arrive.

William arrived and they proceed to go to the telepathy room. They greeted Julius. Charlotte ask if they manage to get something from the prisoners.

"Yes, thanks to Asta and Marx we manage to get some information from them"

Julius replied in his usual cheerful tone. He face the two prisoners and his face and tone become serious.

"Let me ask you again, who was it that is working with you guys?"

"The traitor was among you"

"What's the name of the traitorous captain that has been helping you?"

"It's the captain of purple orca, Gelrod Poizot"

Once the traitor heard his name he furiously denied the accusation. And the other captain reveal his dirty stuffs, still denying so Yami suggested that Marx look at his memories of he's truly innocent.

He doesn't want to reveal his dirty work so he open his grimoire and tried to escape. Unfortunate for him Rill, the captain of Aqua Deer restrain him with the help of Asta.

Marx use his magic on Gelrod and there all his dirty, stinky, stupid work that include embezzlement, violence toward his own squad, and conspiracy with the terrorist. His work got revealed like watching on a tv screen thanks to Marx's magic.

After dealing with the traitor, Julius invite Yami and Asta on his office. He told them that it was beyond sad to know a magic Knight from clover kingdom betrayed tem after they fought with the enemy side by side.

Yami ask him if they got called just to hear his emotional speech and told him that he got the wrong people to talk to.

Of course Julius told him the truth why he invited them separately. He told them about the stone monument he saw to the base of the enemy which is inside the big skull located in Hage and they tried to collect a stone with magic embedded in it.

Collecting those stone and put them together, mana will resonate to it and an amazing power will be reborn.

"I still don't know what they're up to but we can't let them get their hands on the remaining stone"
