chapter 4- We are just friends

Fred's POV

"I dont know" I said looking around the great hall. Y/n went up to Hermione,Ron,and Harry. "Why is everyone clapping and cheering" she looking confused. "Arent you guys dating" Hermione said looking at me and then looking at y/n. "No we are just friends" I said. "For now" I mumbled under my breath but Hermione and Ron heard me. "Yea we are just friends" y/n said in a sad tone. Hermione and Ron pulled me aside. "You like her dont you Freddie" Ron said as I was looking at y/n. "Who" I said. "Y/n, you dumbo.Dude I can see it in your eyes,you like her" Ron said. "Fine,I like her ok, I like y/n but I know that she will never like me, She is the most beautiful girl in the world. I dont want to be her friend, I want to be so much more then her friend" I said looking at y/n.

Y/n POV

Hermione and Ron took Fred aside, I was talking to Harry. "Do you like him" Harry said as I was looking at Fred. "We're just friends" I said totally not answering the question. "You didnt answer the question y/n" Harry looking at me as I return back to reality. "Fine,I like him ok and I know that he doesnt like me,I felt so safe in his arms when he cuddled me" I said not thinking. "WAIT WHAT YOU GUYS CUDDLED AND DIDNT TELL ME" Harry yelled. I pulled him by his robe and headed to the common room. "Yes , we were walking around the the castle when I started to get tired.He picked me up and I feel asleep on him,he was about to leave when I told him to stay and cuddle me and so he did" I said looking at Harry. "OoOoOo that sounds fun" Harry said. "You cant tell anyone,not even Hermione and Ron" I said. "Ok" Harry said. I started to walk away to head to class and then I heard Hermione and Ron's voice. They were talking about trying to get me and Fred together but he doesnt like me. As I was walking to class Cedric stopped me "Hey y/n" Cedric said smiling. "Hey Ced" I said turning to face him. "Um..I have something to ask you" Cedric said. "Ok" I said. "Will you go on a date with me" Cedric said. "Of course" I said. "Ok I will pick you up on Friday at 7" Cedric said. "Ok" I said as started walking away.

Fred's POV
I was walking to class when I saw y/n talking to Cedric. She didn't see me ,so I got a little closer. I heard asking her on a date. I wanted her to say no,to come running to me confessing that she has feelings for me but I know that wasn't going to happen. I heard y/n say yes to the date. I felt my heart brake. I like y/n but she didnt know but I had to get to class and walked right passed her. After class I meet up with Hermione,Ron,Harry,and George. "Cedric asked her on a date and she said yes" I said looking down at my feet. "Who" Geroge said. "Y/n" Hermione said. I then walked to my dorm without saying a word. I havent come out of my room all day.

Y/n POV

I hadn't seen Fred all day,So I went to ask George were he went. "George,where is Fred" I said. "In his dorm,he hasn't been out of his dorm since the first class" George said. "Ok thanks George" I said heading towards Fred's dorm. "Your welcome" Geroge yelled after me. I got to Fred's dorm and knocked. "Go away George" Fred said towards the door. "I'm not George" I said as the door started to unlock and open. "What's wrong Fred" I said walking into his dorm. "Nothing"Fred said in a rude tone. "Fred what wrong,I know you" I said giving the puppy dog eyes. "Nothing is going on, I'm just tired" Fred said. "Ok I will leave you alone" I said turning around and heading towards the door. "Don't leave cuddle me?" Fred asked and of course I gave in. We cuddle all night. And once again I felt safe in his arms. I knew that Fred liked Angelina but was cuddling with me. I woke up the next morning and rolled over and Fred wasn't there. "Fred" I said looking around the room for him. There was a note on the pillow next to him. The note read

"Good morning beautiful, I went down to the great hall to get breakfast. I didnt want to wake you because you looked so beautiful
- Fred"
I smiled at the note,I went back to my dorm and got dressed. I wear this today
