The girls made their way through the crowds as there was some time before the boys had to get on the track for warmups,

"So how are things with lover boy?" Kylie asked with a smile as she fiddled with the ID card that was on her neck,

"We spoke last night," Chelsea explained as she fixed her hair,

"He seems good," she added with a smile,

"You like him?" Marija asked as she cocked her head,

"I thought we agreed that I would get to stay single," the defender had been so nervous about the talks of her going back out on loan that she was now fully focusing on her career,

"Until you found someone," Lejla quickly reminded her roommate of the deal that the girls made,

"Which you definitely did," Brogan smiled as she pushed her sunglasses up to rest them on her head.

"He even laughs at your jokes," Valentina nodded in agreement,

"Nobody does that," she added as she shook her head,

"Lando laughs at everything," Chelsea pointed out in a duh tone,

"That's not entirely true," Lando shook his head as he wrapped his arm around the girl's shoulder,

"Hey," he added with a smile,

"Hi," the footballer looked up to him,

"This is for you," she added as she handed the boy his phone,

"I have yours upstairs," the driver explained as he took his phone from her,

"Come on, we can go grab it." He added with a smile,

"Wait where did they all go?" The girl asked as she looked back to see that the girls had all left,

"To go say hi to their boyfriends now hurry up," the boy explained as he motioned to the girl to follow him,

"Bossy," Chelsea mumbled as she began to follow him to the McLaren box,

"I'm not bossy," Lando sent her a glare as he turned to face her,

"I just don't want to waste any time," he added in a duh tone,

"I'm going to stick with bossy," the defender smiled as she nodded,

"Do you want your phone back or not?" The driver shot back as he crossed his arms,

"I can get it myself," the girl pointed out,

"I have connections you know," she added with a grin,

"And what might these connections be?" The boy asked as he cocked his head.

Lando opened the door to the small room and Chelsea quickly realised that it seemed to be like his office for the weekend,

"I have a question," Lando sighed as he shut his door behind him,

"And I might have an answer," Chelsea smiled as she sat down,

"Can we start fresh?" The driver asked as he looked at her,

"Why do you want that?" The defender furrowed her eyebrows,

"Well you did slip out of bed without saying anything," the boy pointed out in a duh tone,

"You were sleeping," the girl shot back with a scoff,

"And I didn't think I'd see you again," she added in a mumble,

"So that makes it any better!" Lando shook his head as he scoffed,

"Lando we need you out in the pit," someone from his team knocked on the door,

"I'm still calling you diehard JB though," Chelsea warned as she got up and grabbed her phone,

"Now that was one thing that I didn't think would change," the driver spoke in a duh tone as they made their way back out,

"Well at least we are on the same page," the footballer smiled as she nodded.

The race had ended and all of the girls were excited,

Their boyfriends had all finished the race and Lando managed to get on the podium alongside Max.

"You can relax now," Valentina smiled as she looked to her teammate,

"The race is over," she added in a duh tone,

"Who would have thought watching that stuff would get this stressful," Chelsea sighed as she took a sip of her drink,

"And dangerous," she had never gotten into watching formula one so this was her first time really paying attention,

"Were you worried?" Aleena smirked as she cocked her head,

"Yes," the defender nodded as she tucked her hair behind her ears,

"Lando almost crashed like five times," she added as she shook her head,

"I'm pretty sure it was six," Lando corrected her as he walked over,

"But I still finished so who is complaining?" He added with a smile,

"Chelsea," the girls all pointed to the defender,

"She thought you were going to get hurt a few times," Isabella explained with a smirk,

"Were you worried?" The driver asked as he cocked his head,

"Yes," the defender nodded,

"I did not plan on spending my weekend watching someone get wheeled off to the hospital," she added in a duh tone,

"I've seriously got to remember to teach you how formula one actually works," Lando let out a sigh as he shook his head,

"Oftentimes people down get injured, and it's usually not badly." He added as the safety precautions had improved massively since the beginning of the sport.

"And you guys didn't think of telling me that earlier?" Chelsea asked as she sent Valentina a glare,

"It was more amusing watching you worry," Valentina explained as the other girls nodded in agreement.
