Just like when Chelsea was a child after they confirmed that her leg was indeed broken her father took her out for ice cream,

It was how he cheered her up when she was young.

"Do you have anyone you can be around?" John asked as he cocked his head,

"What do you mean?" Chelsea looked up from her ice cream,

"For the next few weeks you won't be expected at Cobham," the assistant manager began,

"So do you have people you can be around to talk to?" He added as he knew that it would be important,

"Like Lando," as much as the older Terry didn't know how on board he was with his daughter having a boyfriend he knew that they loved each other,

And his baby girl being happy was all he wanted at the end of the day.

"We actually aren't talking right now," the girl began as she tucked her hair behind her ears,

"What do you mean?" The boy asked as he cocked his head,

"We fought like a month ago and since then we just haven't spoken," Chelsea explained with a sigh,

"What are you doing?" She added as she watched her father go onto his phone,

"Ordering you a McLaren paddock pass," John smiled as he looked up from his phone,

"Why exactly?" The defender asked as she cocked her head,

"Because you need to talk to your boyfriend," the assistant manager spoke in a duh tone,

"You don't even know what happened," the girl rested her head on her hand,

"I know that you love him," the boy spoke in a duh tone,

"And that should be enough to fight for him," he added with a shrug as he wanted to see his daughter smile again.

Chelsea nervously made her way through the stands as she avoided the curious fans who wondered why she wasn't with her boyfriend,

"Chelsea!" 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐒 𝐒𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐙 smiled as he saw the familiar Chelsea jacket,

"Carlos?" Chelsea turned around as she cocked her head being surprised that he was there,

"What are you doing here?" The driver asked as he crossed his arms,

"Well I came to enjoy the scenery," the footballer lied as she didn't know if the boy knew about what was going with the couple.

"You want to tell me the truth?" The Spaniard could tell that the girl was hiding something,

"I've come to apologise to Lando," the Brit let out a sigh S she told him the truth,

"He is busy talking to Zak right now," Carlos explained as he sighed,

"Do you want to sit down?" The boy asked as he crossed his arms,

"It looks uncomfortable to be standing right now," he added referring to the moon boot and crutches that she was using,

"If you find an empty seat here-" Chelsea looked around as she couldn't see a seat for miles,

"I have my motor home," the driver explained with a smile,

"Oh that makes way more sense," the footballer nodded as she gasped.

As Chelsea and Carlos sat in the Spaniard's motor home he couldn't help but wonder what even happened to the couple in the first place,

Since he announced his move away from McLaren at the beginning of the season it seemed to drive a wedge between the two drivers.

"It was completely my fault you know," Chelsea let out a sigh as she rubbed her hands together,

"I was so focused on what was going on in my own life that I didn't even stop to look at him," she added as she looked up at him,

"I just keep kicking myself about it though because I'd give my leg for him to be okay," the Brit mumbled as she nervously tapped her foot on the ground,

"Well I'd hope that it would be your good leg," Lando spoke up as he cracked a smile,

"Lando," Chelsea looked up with a gasp as she didn't think he would be there,

"Do you want to go into the other room," the driver asked as the girl nodded,

"What are you doing here?" He added as they walked into his room,

"I came to apologise," the footballer explained with a sigh,

"I was a real bitch not listening to you," she added as she rested her body on one of the crutches,

"Okay, why are you smiling?" The girl noticed the grin on his face,

"Your cast is red," the boy pointed out,

"You get to pick the colour and you went for red," he added with a smirk,

"You love me," he smiled as he looked at her,

"And Arsenal," the got decided to slip in the comment,

"I love you," Chelsea smiled as she sat on the couch,

"But would die before I supported Arsenal any day of the week," she added in a serious tone,

"Baby steps Chelsea," Lando nodded as he patted her back,

"I've got time to make you an Arsenal fan," he added with a nod,

"Id like to have a family to go back to you know," the footballer looked at him as she sent him an unimpressed look,

"Speaking of families," the boy rubbed his hands together,

"My parents are here," he added as he smiled,

"As in together?" Chelsea was taken by surprise,

"Yeah, they went to counselling and decided that the divorce wasn't what they wanted," Lando nodded as he ran his fingers through his hair,

"But they do want to meet you," he added hoping that the girl would be okay with meeting his parents today.
