The next morning, Professor Toad and Captain T. Ode had been doing some deep sea research.
Professor Toad: "Not sure if I ever studied marine biology, but I know a lot about ancients and deserts!"
Captain T. Ode: "Ancients you say? I am an ancient according to everyone else."
Professor Toad: "I know! That's so cool! So, what's it like to ride a boat?"
Captain T. Ode: "I'm very used to sailing, wanna try?"
The Professor was shocked.
Professor Toad: "Would I? That sounds awesome!"
Captain T. Ode: "Be careful, I'll help you out a bit. Come now, I'll show you around the ship. This is the engine, it can go up to 450mp since it's been upgraded by one of the fellow townsman. This is the steering wheel, of course where you would control the vessel. The Marinó is on the back of the ship, only I shall use it when needed. Got it?"
Professor Toad: "Yup! I wanna try!"
The Professor pulled the leaver to turn on the boat and WOOSH! It went off faster than 100 Yoshi's in a stampede!
Captain T. Ode: "I think you need some more training. Take it from a pro, let me show you."
The captain stepped on the breaks, and started controlling the ship.
Professor Toad: "Woooow, your an expert at this sailing stuff."
Captain T. Ode: "Indeed. Watch this and be amused."
The captain pushed a button and the Marinó's door opened, and was released from the boat.
Professor Toad: "Wait- do I get to go in a submarine too!?"
Captain T. Ode: "My legendary Marinó yes."
Professor Toad: "Wow! This is practically the best day of my life!"
The Captain took the ship back to the dock, and the Professor and him went into the Marinó.
Professor Toad: "Oooh! Let's go underwater!"
Captain T. Ode: "Watch this."
The captain pressed and pulled a lever, then, the Marinó was underwater.
Professor Toad: "Wow look at all those fish! This is excellent education class."
Captain T. Ode: "Who needs education when you have the sea?"
Professor Toad: "Stop talking for a moment! I need to study the area around me."
Captain T. Ode: "Do you want to explore the rest of the sea as well, Professor?"
Professor Toad: "Okay I think I got a basic understanding of the environment. Let's move on."
Captain T. Ode: "Sounds like a deal, Professor."

Professor Toad: "Look at all those sea creatures

Professor Toad: "Look at all those sea creatures..."
Captain T. Ode: "Hey look, some treasure. Perhaps we could try and get it?"
Professor Toad: "How though? We don't have any stretchy arms that could magically grab the chest and bring it in here-"
The Marinó's special arms were activated and grabbed the treasure chest.
Professor Toad: "Wow, this is AWESOME!"
Captain T. Ode: "I wonder what's in this treasure chest...."
Professor Toad: "Open it!"
Inside the treasure chest was 1,000 gold coins and an Ancient Model of a Cheep Cheep.
Professor Toad: "AN ARTIFACT!? Gimmie gimmie!"
Captain T. Ode: "Take the artifact, I'll take the coins."
Professor Toad: "Goodness! This artifact is from the early ages of Shroomzerk!"
Captain T. Ode: "I've never heard of Shroomzerk, but I do know of Shroomses."
Professor Toad: "This exploration has been very beneficial, let's keep exploring."
The captain kept on driving the Marinó, while the Professor watched out the window for ancient stuff lingering in the sea.
Professor Toad: "How big is the sea, captain? Does it truly go on forever?"
Captain T. Ode: "No, it stops. The sea is guarded by a goon called Blooper."
Professor Toad: "Oh. I thought it was vast. Anyway, can we explore any islands around here?"
Captain T. Ode: "You ask a lot of questions Professor. Yes, there is one right here, I call it, Spade Island."
Professor Toad: "Looks very familiar... Yeah, let's head to the top and check out this island."
