You've been in your room all day and haven't really done anything. You finished your homework and folded your laundry while watching series on Netflix. You proceeded to watch videos and scroll through your phone when your mom opens your door.

"Do you think I should wear the blue one or the green one?" she asks wearing a towel while holding two dresses up.

"Uh, the blue one? Where are you going?" you ask confused.

"Uh, why aren't YOU ready?" she asks you.

"What do you mean?" you respond.

"Y/N, I told you we have a dinner with Kuroo's family this evening..." she says in disbelief.

"Excuse me?? First off, you mentioned no such thing... Second, Kuroo's family? How?? WHY??" you try to comprehend everything but it's all happening too fast.

"Oh... Did I not? Well, Oh well, you have an hour to get ready..." she says walking away.

You plop on your bed, sighing. 'What the hell... she still didn't answer me about Kuroo's family...' you think to yourself. You quickly get up and go to your window.

"Kuroo!" you yell to the open window across from yours.

"I swear I didn't know until this morning!" Kuroo quickly says as soon as he sees you.

"This morning? I just found out now, why didn't you tell me?" you ask worried for this evening.

"My mom made me clean the house, I didn't get to ask you..." he says yawning.

"Do you know why our families are having dinner together?" you ask hoping for someone to answer you.

"I think my mom said she saw your mom come home and they started talking and your mom mentioned us going on a date and my mom got excited and then she invited your family over for dinner..." he explains.

"Oh... I don't know if I'm ready. Oh wait- will your sister be there?" you ask even more nervous than before. It's not that you don't like Kuroo's older sister. She was always nice to you and Kenma but she was still intimidating. Her beauty was sharp and her confidence was unmatched, she truly made you think she was a goddess when you were younger... honestly you still think so now. Although, you haven't seen her in a while since she's been busy with work and doesn't visit often but you thought you'd still ask.

"Aha- funny enough she is actually," Kuroo says nervously laughing knowing that it was going to put more pressure on you. He didn't mean to make you more nervous, but he wasn't about to lie.

"Oh great, that's just- nice," you say starting to overthink.

"Hey! I mean your brother is going to be there and he's been off to college, so... I'm also scared," Kuroo says trying to relate.

"Kuroo you just saw him two weeks ago... he's not gone as long as your sister has," you argue.

"Okay, you're right, I'm sorry! But don't worry she loves you my whole family does so just calm down okay, they'll love you just like I do..." you look at Kuroo who's giving you a sincere smile.

You take a deep breath and say "Okay, yeah I got this."

"Yeah you do," Kuroo encourages.

"I'll be fine," you reassure yourself.

"Damn right you will be!" Kuroo continues to boost your spirits.

"OKAY! I'm going to shower!" you say very energetically and march away.
