Chapter 1

"So we're making a snowman again, huh?" Nina scoffed wrapping a red scarf around it's neck, it looked terrifying "Come on now Sadie, it's your turn to put on the carrot." Sage commented turning around to face Sadie giving space for her to stick the carrot in.

"I-" Sadie gripped onto the carrot staring at the snowman, her legs trembled in paranoia "I can't!" Sadie jumped back shaking like an idiot "Why?" Nina frowned in curiousity, Sadie threw her head back as in a sign of a tic "W-What if it comes back alive and kills me?!" Sadie mumerred quickly making it hard to understand.

"What- No, Sadie just stick the carrot in and everything will be just fine." Nina took a step infront of Sadie gently grabbing her wrist, pulling her towards the snowman "No!" Sadie yelped in a frightened tone squeezing her eyes shut.

Nina pulled Sadie's hand up calmly shoving the carrot in-between the snowman's eyes "There we go, see wasn't so bad ... Was it honey?" A wide grin appeared on Nina's face, she pat Sadie's head calming her down.

Sadie slightly smiled to Nina's comfort "Is Alex still working on that project?" Nina zipped up her varsity jacket pulling Sadie closer to her. Sage stretched "Probably, probably not ... probably eating McDonald's." Sage yawned walking off with Nina and Sadie.

"Alright, chicken nugget ... you see I don't really wanna swallow you right now but it's worth i-" Alex joked around suddenly startled by her bedroom door getting slammed open "What the fuck?!" Alex jumped up sadly throwing her chicken nugget away.

"Didn't you say that you were working on your 'project'?" Sage leaned against the doors frame glaring at Alex, "Well- uh, yeah I actually just finished it." Alex pulled the happy meal away hiding it behind her back.

"Cut it with the lies, we both know that you didn't do it." Sage rolled her eyes flicking up the light switch to turn on the light, "You know Sage- You can't just fucking come in here like you're part of the FBI or something." Alex grabbed the happy meal throwing it inside her own trash-can.

"Anddd.. you're still obsessing over McDonald's." Sage sighed rubbing her head in disappointment "Yeah, so? It's not like I'm too old for it." Alex flopped back down on her comfortable bed looking up at Sage "What were you guys up to, today?".

"Well-" Sage grabbed Alex's 'gaming' chair, spinning it around to herself "Not much." Sage flopped down on the chair. "What do you mean not much? I bet you guys did something fun." Alex crossed her arms waiting for a reply.

"Ugh, we did build a snowman and we did hang out for a while yes." Sage stood up getting off of the chair and putting it back in it's place "You should be heading home now." Alex looked out of her window watching the moon set slowly, waving a goodbye to Sage.

"Goodbye then... Fattie." Sage chuckled leaving Alex's room "What did you just sa-" Before Alex could say anything she got cut off by the door getting closed shut "Oh I'll get you next time." Alex mumbled in anger.
