Chapter 9

Welp heres chapter 9. Sorry that the chapters are coming really slowly. Im busy with work and school being a senior and all. But I'll try to type them up faster and get them out to you guys.

~ Delante's P.O.V. ~

How long has it been? A day? A week? I don't know anymore... I haven't talked, eaten, drank or even moved from my current spot since I found out Blood left. Max has tried multiple times to get me to eat or at least drink something so I don't wither away. But I always turned away from him. I didn't want anything. I wasn't hungry and I wasn't thirsty.

All I wanted was for Blood to return so I could beat the fucking shit out of him. Who in the hell does he think he is? Leaving me like he did! The fucking bastard... But he was my bastard. I'm starting to make a lot of people uneasy while I just stay up here in mine and Blood's room not doing anything. I think they are waiting for Blood to get back and yell at them or something. Oh well, it's not really my fault. It's Bloods.

As I was ranting to myself in my head I seemed to be drifting off to sleep. I gave up and let the darkness engulf me. Not like it could hurt to sleep a little before Blood comes back.

~ Blood's P.O.V. ~

This isn't good... Not good at all. The mission was a success but that isn't the problem. I had Max stay behind to make sure Delante didn't do anything rash. But Max told me that he hasn't done anything for the past four days. I'm beginning to worry that he hates me now. I looked at the time and decided to call Max.

I pulled out my phone and dialed his number listening to it ring. "Hey Boss." I heard Max answer. "How is he?" I asked instantly. I heard Max sigh. "Not so good. He's getting worse and I actually had to sedate him.... I had to so I could feed him through a tube... Its not good at all." I rubbed my face and let out a breath. "We're almost home... Is he awake?" I asked looking out the window. "Yeah he's awake. Want to talk to him?" I smiled a little. "Yes please."

I heard Max walk up some stairs and open a door to what was probably mine and Delante's room. "Delante phone's for you." I heard Max say then some shuffling and the phone was moving. "Hello?" I heard Delante's voice from the other end. I let out a breath. "Delante... Hey." I said not really knowing what to say. "Blood..." I heard his voice crack as he said my name and I wanted to punch myself.

"Hey, hey it's okay. Please don't cry Delante. I'm almost home ok?" I heard him sniffle then start sobbing and I really hated myself for making him cry. "Y-You're... You're s-such a f-fucking dick! H-How could you!? Y-You left m-me when you p-promised!!" I heard him yell at me and I winced. "I know... I know. I'm sorry Delante." He was crying still then he started sniffling. "I-I miss you..." He sobbed out again. "I miss you too Love. I miss you so much." he sniffles. "Promise?" He asks softly and I smile.

"I swear it~ I'm almost home. Just eat and drink something for me ok?" He sniffles and I could feel his smile. "Okay Blood." "I love you Delante." I said to him smiling. "I love you too~" he said and hung up. I put my phone away. We were about two hours away from the hotel then we would pack up and actually head home. I can't wait to see Delante's reaction to where we live. I bet it'll be priceless. I smile to myself and close my eyes thinking.

Before I knew it we were at the hotel and I was getting out of the car only to be tackled in a very weak yet strong hug by my Delante. I wrapped my arms around him and held him close taking him in and how skinny he was. "Jesus you're as thin as a twig. You are going to be fattened up and quickly. I can't have you like this." I said to him and kissed his head pulling away and looking at him. He smiled a bit at me and leaned up kissing me. I kissed back happily loving the taste of him. He tasted of sweet ripe strawberries and a hint of cinnamon. Man did I love that taste.

~ Delante's P.O.V. ~

When I got off the phone with Blood I instantly got up slowly to take a shower. I went to the bathroom, took a shower, and cleaned up. I got dressed and I went downstairs to eat something. I got something to eat and waited for Blood to get here. I sat in the living room with Max and we talked until I heard a car outside. I got up and went to the door looking outside to see a car pull up and stop then turn off.

I waited to see if it was Blood when I saw the back door open and Blood stepped out. I bolted out the door and instantly tackled Blood into a hug. Of course I wasn't heavy enough to knock him over so he wrapped his arms around me and held me tightly. I snuggled into him when I heard him speak. "Jesus you're as thin as a twig. You are going to be fattened up and quickly. I can't have you like this." He said to me and kissed my head. I smiled a little at him after he pulled away. I leaned up and kissed him and he instantly kissed me back.

He was home. He was okay. He was in my arms. And I was determined to keep it that way. No matter what I'm keeping him with me and he will never leave. Even if it means I have to wither away into nothing.
