Chapter 4

I woke up the next day wondering what I should do. The villain attack doesn't happen for a couple of months so I guess I should do some training. I don't want to make a fool of myself. I decide to go ask Kurogiri if he could help me train. I walked out into the bar area and to my surprise Kurogiri was not there. Crusty was so, to my annoyance, I would have to ask him where Kuro was.

"Do you know where Kurogiri is?" I asked trying to mask my annoyance.

"No," Crusty responded giving me an evil eye probably in an attempt to be intimidating.

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms at his behavior. From what I've seen, he acts like a petulant five year old child. I sighed and gave him an uninterested look which made him look confused as if he was surprised I wasn't scared of him. He opened his mouth presumably to say something else when one of Kurogiri's portals opened up behind the bar. Kurogiri stepped out with bags of groceries in his arms.

"Would you like some help with that?" I asked trying to be helpful.

"That is not necessary. I can do it myself. Thank you for the offer," Kuro responded nicely like always.

"Are you sure? You have a lot of bags there. I don't mind helping," I said.

"Well, if you really want to I guess you can help. Here you can take these bags. Follow me to the kitchen."

I grabbed the bags he indicated for me to take and followed him to the kitchen. He started to put the groceries away. I tried to help, but I didn't really know where to put them so I kept putting them in the wrong places. Finally, he just told me to hand him the stuff to put away. I apologized for not being a better help. He seemed to appreciate that I actually tried. I guess no one helps him out that much. I'll make sure to help him out more.

"Actually, I need to ask you a favor," I started.

"What do you need?" He asked.

"Would you help me train? Right now I don't have much fighting experience so if I had to fight I would lose."

"Of course I'll help you train. I'm glad you're taking being a villain seriously. When would you like to start?"

"As soon as possible please. I'll need all the help I can get."

"Alright, we will start first thing tomorrow at the giant field 10 minutes away so I can figure out how to go about training you."

"Ok." I said happy the conversation went so well.

The rest of the day went by very slow. I was excited and nervous about tomorrow. Hopefully, it goes well and I don't make a fool of myself. I made sure to go to sleep early so I could be well rested and ready for tomorrow. When I woke up, I put on a pair of black pants, a black t-shirt, and the tennis shoes. I walked to the bar area to eat a quick breakfast before heading out to the field. Kuro used his portals to take both of us to the field so I didn't have to walk there.

"Alright," Kuro started when we had arrived. "Before I train you, I need to know your skill levels so I have put together some tests for you. After you finish the tests, I will come up with a training regimen that you will have to follow in order to become a good fighter."

"Ok," I nodded. "what's first?"

"First, I need to see how much stamina you have. I need you to run around the field until you feel like you can't anymore. Don't worry after every test I will give you time to recover."
