Chapter 12: Party Planner

Last Time: Though it was still night outside, I decided to go to sleep as well because it just felt natural. I didn't have any clothes but that was fine.

I adjusted so Lin was laying on my chest more comfortably and closed my eyes, relaxation consuming my body.

*Lins POV*

I woke up to birds chirping and it was surprisingly peaceful. I unintentionally hummed in satisfaction when I felt fingers run through my hair. I wrapped my arms around their waist and peered up at them.

I saw a beautiful peaceful sleep Pippa stroking through my hair. She had a smile on her face and her breaths were as cute and delicate as a breath could be.

I rubbed my thumb on her hip and her smiles grew wider as she curled her body more so it could fit perfectly into mine. I smiled and found it against myself to wake her up. She needed the sleep and I won't disturb her from it. 

I grabbed my phone from the side of the table having to roll away from her. She whimpered quietly at the loss of contact as her nose scrunched up and she made an adorable pout on her pretty lips. 

All I could do was quietly laugh and smile. I grabbed my phone from the table and put my arms back around her waist and the pout was replaced with a look of satisfaction. 

I scrolled Twitter for about 20 minutes before her eyes started to slowly flutter open revealing her gorgeous dark brown irises. I smiled as she looked around her until her gaze landed on me. She blushed and looked down my hands around her waist. 

She looked back up and saw her hands in my hair. She smiled and continued to run her fingers through my hair as she kissed my forehead. She laid her hand above mine. That small gesture sent shocks through my body. 

"So," She started talking in her adorable morning voice, "I was thinking about it a little bit yesterday and Sebastian's birthday is next week. I wanted to do something special since he was turning 4."

My heart flutter at the thought of her thinking about Sebastian as if she was truly his mom. "Well," I started, "We can ask him. I did kind of promised him he could be his own party planner." I laughed lightly as did she. 

"Ok, that's fine, I don't think you can get discharged today though," I frowned a little. I know that but I don't like sitting in one place all the time and knowing Pippa she won't let me get up, "So if you want I can get Sebastian from your parents and bring him here unless you want him to stay here until you get released."  

I thought about it. I would like Sebastian here, but the only problem is that I don't know when I'm getting out of here and I don't think Pippa knows either. If I ask her, I know she's going to lecture me about being safe, and even if she knows she won't tell me because she knows I'm going to be anticipating it. 

I nodded. If I was going to be stuck in for however long I need my kid for some kind of comfort. 

She kissed my cheek and got up to get her stuff so she could go pick up Sebastian. As I watched her walk out the door, I held the place her lips touched and my face started burning red as I felt the reminiscence of her kiss linger on my face.

I was scrolling through my phone as I heard my room door open back up and heard the beautiful sound of giggling. Not from one person but two.
