25: My Lost Treasure

Running around the city as she try to find her precious necklace, Davichi finally reach the arcade. When she get there the place is about to close for the night.

"What are you still doing here? Did you not have a place to sleep tonight?" Sunggyeol yawns as he is about to leave for the night.

"I have a home, I'm not homeless." She pushes him aside and hurry in side.

"You lost something?" He walk back inside standing beside her as he stares at her face.

"Yeah..." Davichi look around the car and the seat but she finds nothing there. The place has been clean and it looks like she has lost the necklace.

"What ever we find in here we put them in the box. Come here." Sunggyeol drag Davichi by pushing on her shoulder and lead her to a lost and found room. "Okay the box from today are these..." He shows her two big boxes of lost and forget items the gamers left behind.

'Please let me find it' Davichi closed her eyes for a second. She rolls up her sleeves and start looking through one box at a time.

"What are you looking for anyway?" He slide his bottom on top of a table and smoothly cross his leg and stare at Davichi as she look for her necklace.

"My necklace." She answer with hesitant in her voice.

"I check all the lost and found and I don't see any necklace here." He bluntly tell her.

"Huh???" Davichi stop her movement.

"Go home, I'm closing.." Sunggyeol drag Davichi by her wrist to the exit. "I'm tired, go home. I'm locking the place up so you can come check it again tomorrow. I will close the place for a day." He set the alarm and check making sure by looking on his phone. The camera and his phone are connected. He can look at the security through his phone anytime and anywhere.

Next morning..

It might be in the pool like Sunggyeol said last night.

He didn't help me look for my necklace. Instead of helping, he drag me everywhere in the game room after I try to look in the lost and found.

The last three words he said hit me and I hope I could find it today.

This necklace is the one dad gave to me on my thirteen birthday. He said it is the necklace he gave to my mom before they go their separate way. Dad has one with a left heart shape cavity. Mom has one with right heart shape cavity. On my I have a shape of a diamond lock which means I am their most precious jewel in the entire world.

I never met mom and I think she is doing fine. Dad said mom left him because she thinks dad likes guy better than girl. I don't believe that.

He said, he and mom never got marry. It was one time thing and mom left as soon as I turn two months old.

Dad and I always have it on around our neck until recently. This necklace help make me feel better when I'm down and I need dad. When I study aboard in England and need dad, I touch the necklace and it makes me feel like he was there with me.

I can't loose it now.

"Come with us!" I'm being held by my arm behind my back by four girls.

This is not going to be pretty. I don't have time to go with you people.

"Arhhh!" The girl scream and let go of my arm right away.

I struggle and kick her in her leg.

"Yah you." Another girl grab hold of my uniform and yank on them.
