29: The camping trip

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. The birds were chirping and the waves hit the rock.

Hemhhh!! "Joey I don't want to go to camp." I covered the bed sheet over my head. I haven't done camping in a long time.

"Good morning" a sweet melody filled my ear.

This is not Joey voice. Wait a minute. Joey is not here.

"If you don't wake up I'll have to hug you!!" There it was again. The voices are so sweet. Am I dreaming?

I need more sleep. "Couple more minutes please."

*flop*

"Darling wake up.." A soft whisper next to my ear made me feel even more sleepy, however.

My body felt heavy. It felt like someone is laying next to me and have their arm around me. Could it be dad?

"No!!!" I opened my eyelids with the feeling of anxiety and annoyance.

"Good morning." Myungsoo greeted me with his sweet smiles. His dimples inverted deep like a dumplings.

"What are you doing in my room?" I turned my face away from him and tried to get up and out from under the silk sheet.

"Get up before the guys get up. I made breakfast."

"Your joking right? You cooked?" I am still full from last night.

"Come, get up." He jump down and stretch out his hand grabbing on to mine own.

I arrived at school waiting to get on the bus.

This school is really something. This is my first time going camping like this with school.

"Morning Davichi" Kailee carried his bags over his shoulder making his way toward where I'm sitting. "Your finally alone."

"Yeah!!" I answered shortly and looked far away into the garden. Alone, but not a lone. I thought.

"You okay?? You been spacing off lately."

"I was just thinking about the war and the trip." I answered. "Aren't school completion supposed to be fun? Involving lots of students?" I wants looking for a definite answer. "And Training?"

"Don't worry about it. Just have fun. Coach James won't make you sweat like the guys I'm sure of it." He places his hand on my shoulder for comfort.

That's not what I meant but I just smile back to him.

"Common let get on the bus!!" The bus arrives.

Kailee offer to carry my bag but I turn him down and carry it myself.

There are two buses. One is for Kailee class as the other is for my class. He drops me off at my bus and leave for his right next to it.

Right when I get on, eyes of many girls are staring at me and scoffing.

"So you can afford to come after all." One girl said with a tone that is annoyance to hear. She looks at me using the corner of her eye.

"Of course she can because Myungsoo paid for her."

"She only have one bag of clothes." They giggle.

Of course I only have one because I only bring what necessaries and leave out technology and makeup.

I got on the bus and all the seat in the front and middle row are taken. DongShin is not here because he has to take care of his sick mom and the restaurant. I would rather stay home but I have to go.
