Chapter 39

(A/N Notes:  Today was an odd week... Mostly because I came with ideas for other stories instead of the staple one)

"*Yawns*... "

Takeru was tiredly leaving his apartment

"Ara! Good morning, Takeru"

"Hm? Ah! Yes, good morning, Yuriko *Yawn*"

He was greeted by his beautiful girlfriend who was waiting for him, Yuriko had gone to a hair salon the day before yesterday, so the mess she had caused to her bangs was somewhat fixed

"So? Shall we get going to our first day of school after summer break?"

"*Sigh* Sure"

Yuriko brightly smiled and hugged one of Takeru's arms

"Then let's get going"

And at seeing Yuriko like, he could only happily sigh, clearly noticing that she just wanted to walk with him. And with that, they went to school holding hands (A/N Notes: Lewd)

About 30 minutes later

Yuriko and Takeru were as always practically the only students on the school grounds, even more so since it was the first day of school after the summer break, they stopped holding hands and changed to their indoor shoes

"See you at Lunch break, Takeru"

"*Nods* See you there, Yuriko"

"... Hmm... Takeru"

"? What is it?"

When he turned to face her, Yuriko went and kissed him, after parting her lips from his, she quickly excused herself and left in a hurry with a red face. While Takeru kept standing there like a statue, until his embarrassment finally began to kick in, also making him hurriedly go to his classroom with a red face

Minutes later

"Blah blah blah *Something very boring* Blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda blah..."

The principal was giving his usual boring speech to his students, which made many of them fall asleep, Takeru included, and even some of the teachers as well

"... Blah blah blah And now I'll pass the remaining time to our student council president Yuriko-san, please come here"

"Thank you, Principal"

"!"

And many of the students and the teachers who were sleeping were woken up by the charming female voice, Takeru was not one of them

<Ah! I found him, and he's sleeping... This is just like the entrance ceremony, a good deja vu feeling... Now, now, this is no time for nostalgia> "Ahem... Hello, everyone, I as many of you might already know, am Nanami Yuriko, the current student council president for a few more months, and I welcome you all back to Yama high, I hope for everyone to continue getting along with everyone else. I know it may be hard to come back to school after the summer break, but I am sure we will all make great memories while we are here, even more so since our beloved school festival will be reaching us soon. So as I said before, welcome back to Yama high!"

"UUUUUUUUUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!!!"

"!?!?!?"

<Ah! He woke up>

And the students shouted with power, waking Takeru up with a scare, he looked around in a panic and noticed Yuriko on the podium, so this time he was able to calm himself better, and he made discreetly waved his hand to Yuriko, and she who was already looking him, simply closed her eyes and nodded with a charming and happy smile towards him
