Chapter 2: The magical book

Destiny's P.O.V

"We need to tell you something." Said Jax looking at me with his big blue eyes. I looked at Daniel that back at Jax in awe. I closed my mouth and glared at them.

"What do you need" I spit at them venom clear in my voice. Both of the gulp loudly looking at each other.

"We know that today is your birthday so we came here to congratulate you for turning 17. We both know how much you wanted to be 17. We brought you something" Daniel said pulling something out of his pocket. I narrowed my eyes at what he was holding tightly in his hand. It was a book that said Magical Day.
Do they know about my magic? Oh my....

"Did anything strange happen today? Or maybe magical?" Daniel asked looking at me curiously. I made a thinking face.
Oh I don't know, I don't think so, But some how I got magical powers!

I can't say that!

"Umm.. Strange like what? Strange like getting magical powers strange?" I ask them both looking at the floor. Both of them sighed. Why did they just sigh.

"So you already know about your magical powers. But there is lots more that you don't know." I looked at both of them my eyes wide.what do they mean lots things I don't know..

"What do you guys mean lots of other things I don't know?"

"Well, there are things called goblins, sirens, and sorceress. All of them are very dangerous. We came here to see if your OK because they hunt for the newbies." Jax answered looking me in the eyes. I saw something flash in his eyes but it was gone quickly. I was speechless. So all the books I read about goblins, witches, mermaids are real?

"We also brought you a spell book. Its says all the spells you need. Also we need to tell you something. But I think you should rest and then we will tell you. We will just leave the book here and leave ourselves. Text us when you wake up" Daniel said putting down the big book and turned around walking to the door. I watched them way to me and smiled. They closed the door shut and I could hear their steps grow faint. I locked the door and went in my room sitting down on my bed. But then I remebered that Daniel left the book on my table. I got up and ran to the kitchen grabbing the book and running back. It would be even more confusing for Emma. I put the humongous book on my vanity and tucked myself in bed falling into a deep sleep. Not worrying about anything.
