amaya's point of view

"i hate this outfit!" i tensely say to keiko as i rake through my closet.

tobio will be here to pick me up for our first date in 15 minutes.

it's been about a week since we got back to miyagi and started dating. i told keiko, of course, every ounce of detail about what happened.

"wear this!" she says, pulling a long sleeved white t shirt out of my closet along with a small black overall dress. "you could layer them!"

i try the outfit on and like it, surprisingly. i fix my hair and leave it down, also not wearing any makeup, like usual.

"awe, this is so cute!! i can't believe my baby's all grown up and going on her first date!" keiko gushes and i roll my eyes.

"we should go on a double date," keiko smirks.

"wait, that's not actually a bad idea," i say, and she immediately takes out her phone, probably texting shoyo.

i get a text from tobio as well.

"aweeee you're texting him aren't you?" keiko asks as soon as i text him back. "you're smiling so hard right now."

i turn my head away, embarrassed. "shut up."

we head downstairs and she fixes my hair and outfit one last time before she grabs some food out of my pantry.
