Akashi looked at his lifeless body that have been dressed in a new cloth. The one which he was wearing when he came to Teikou for the first time. The kimono was a little bit too short for him but it was so much better than any cloths Akashi had ever gave him.

Akashi looked at him once again, now with his eyes glassed by the tears he tried so hard to hold. Seeing his husband in this kimono made him remember the day of their wedding. Sure that time the dress was so perfect to fit Kouki's small delicate body. He was so young, only 17 when they sent him to marry The Emperor. And he would be celebrating his 21st birthday on November if he was alive.

Akashi sighed, "Time sure have passed" he murmured into Kouki's ear.

He then gave a sad smile and placed his arm around his husband's left chest. Akashi could tell that there was nothing beating inside, his heart was already stop working. He hugged him closer, but still felt nothing. Like there was a hollow in Kouki's chest. A big, empty and cold hollow.

"Did you ever feel so bitter about me?" He ask, still holding his husband.

He run his fingers on top of Kouki's head. Cherishing the softness of his hair. The brunette and slightly darker hair on the lower part. The colour always reminds him about the earth. About the people, the ordinary people that serve him in his palace, the people he met at the market, the soldier that fight with him, and then people he met everyday, the people of Teikou. These people he has to lead, and also he has to protect. Kouki was just one of those ordinary people, yet he killed him with his own hands.

"I can't even protect you. How will I do my duty to protect this country?" Tears running down his cheeks, he couldn' t hold it any longer. He cried into his mate that absolutely moveless. He was a prince back then in his home country. But Akashi treated him like a mere peasant here. No, he was treating him worse. Worse than anybody could have done to their one half. His husband, his mate, despite being these two Akashi still treated him like a trash.

"I am sorry". Said Akashi before he took his dagger.

"I will be there soon".

And the world went dark.
