46 | Mingled souls

Spruha's POV

He didn't uttered a word during the ride. I kept wondering where he was taking me. Then he stopped at a familiar place.

ＶＡＳＵＮＤＨＡＲＡ

He bought at Vasundhara , his secret place to escape. He took hold of my hand and let me in.

He closed the door thudding making a loud noise. I shuddered at the sound. He stood at a hand distance from me , both silently stood hearing eachother's deep breath.

Then he came near me , doing the most unexpected thing.

He ran towards me , and hugged me tight. So tight , choking my breath and shaking my all nerves.. His warm tears cascaded down my neck making me shiver.

I was shocked in the moment , and didn't reciprocate his hug. Voluntarily , tears clouded my eyes and I too was crying. He was sobbing in my embrace , clutching my body tight against his , never leaving me.

I don't know what was happening , but that hug seemed very right in the moment.. I didn't hesitate his touch. Moments later I heard him cry more loud. I caressed his back soothing him and he clutched my kurta tight.

"Varad.." I whispered slowly.

He buried his face in the nape of my neck sobbing. Mumbling something very slowly , in broken words which I didn't get.

"Varad.. I'm here!" I said holding him tight , embracing his warmth to my body , assuring him I'm really here for..him. but his hands clutched my kurta more tight not leaving me.

Next what is said , made me shock!

"Please don't leave me 😭" he said sobbing in my arms. I was going weak and couldn't understand why was he saying this.

"Please don't leave me" he kept saying.

I ruffled his hairs , "I won't " I said kissing his hairs. I made him look at me , but he didn't let go me.

"Look here baby , I'm here" I said cupping his face. I rubbed his tears and looked at him.

"What's wrong?" I asked crying seeing him broken.

He took my hands in his and sobbed. "I---"

"Varad , I'm here.. with you! I won't go anywhere." I assured him again. I made him sit on the small couch. He sat extremely close to me , his hands in mine. He hugged me by my waist keeping his head on my chest.

"I--- I saw a bad dream" he said in his broken voice.

"Hmm... So? What happened?" I urged him to continue

"I--- I saw , *sobs* I saw you leave😭" he said sobbing in my arms. I tightened my grip on his shoulder assuring. I couldn't find what wrong happened.

"Did I??" I asked.

"Yes... You--- you were crying. *Sobs* you said.. you hate me... An--and you left me😭" he said.

"Please don't leave me alone 😭 I love you! I didn't cheat you😭 I didn't" he kept mumbling the last part.

"You didn't.... Shoo.. don't cry! Look I'm here!" I said crying.

I've broken him! What did I do to him?? Why was this happening 😢

"Please don't leave" he said.

"Varad! I'm here. When did you see this dream?"

"When I was sleeping.. in the noon" he said.

"In the noon right..?? Not early morning hours right???"
