Pyrrha Nikos woke up at the sound of  alarm clock, her eyes slowly flutter open to see the dark ceiling in front of her. She stood up from her bed and quickly turned off her alarm clock as to not disturb her roommates, as per her routine she went to the bathroom brushed her teeth. And took a bath, however just when she got out of the bathroom. She noticed a person missing.

"Jaune..?" She muttered to herself, as she felt her heart haste in anxiety. He was gone again, various thoughts ran through her head. As if trying to justify the reason why he was gone again, or perhaps he was never returned to begin with and the events that happened before was all but a dream conjured by her worry. That was until she heard the door to their dorm room open.

Turning towards the direction of the door she saw Jaune Arc enter, wearing nothing but shorts and a tank top. Revealing his muscles on his arm and legs as sweat trickled down his face to his neck and to his torso, making Jaune's shirt stick to his chest. The red haired girl eyes went wide and her cheeks blushed crimson red as she stared at her crush.

Jaune however seeing her frozen state looked worried seeing her stare at the door with drool slowly dripping down her mouth, slowly shaking her made the red head jump and turn her head left and right in alarm. Before freezing as she saw him standing now beside her, "He-hey uh... Jaune!" She said startled. "You okay there Pyr?. You're somewhat acting strange." Her partner asked his voice laced with concern.

"Um no I'm fine, it's uh.... I- uh still lagging from waking up? I guess?." Pyrrha said unsure if what she's saying even makes sense, "Ah that also happens to me from time to time if I really tired myself out on the previous day." Jaune said believing her obvious lie. "So anyway Jaune why are you up so early than usual?" The red head asked, perplexed to why their leader is awake and was outside so early. Normally he would be the last one up and about.

"Oh yeah about that, I'm assuming that I previously don't wake up early when I came here in Beacon huh?, That's strange." Jaune said his hand cupping his chin "And why's that Jaune?." Pyrrha asked and Jaune glanced at her, "Well Normally I would be up early back at home. Guess I got more sleep since I got here." He answered her. Hearing that made Pyrrha tilt her head to to side.

What he said was totally opposite to how he behaves, and she could see that he's acting strange clear as day since the day he arrived. And Pyrrha didn't know if the Jaune she new here on Beacon was just an act, a ploy to play innocent. "Makes me wonder... Did I- no, did we really know you Jaune?...." Pyrrha thought to herself, once again doubting her partners credibility. "Well let's not talk about it now, class starts in two hours. You wanna use the bathroom first?." Jaune said to her, quickly dismissing the potential subject of conversation.

"Well seeing as that you're covered in sweat, I suggest you go first and I'll go second." Pyrrha said, hearing that made the blonde nod, "Ok then, I'll try to be quick." He said as he entered the shower. Pyrrha sileni stared at the door to the bathroom as she heard him take a shower, thinking about their conversation earlier. Before jolting in surprise as she felt a hand on her shoulder, "Sooooooooo..... What'cha doin'?" A familiar voice said.

Pyrrha turned her head to her right, and saw Nora standing with a large grin on her face. "Tryin' to ambush Jaune in his way out of the shower I see, that's naughty of you Pyrrha." Nora teased, making the Pyrrha's face turn crimson. "Nora! No it's just a misunderstanding!-...." Pyrrha then kept on rambling. While Nora kept on grinning like a maniac.

Hours later everyone was the cafeteria already sitting on their seats, "So uh... Anyone else noticed Jaune acting weird lately?." Ruby asked before taking a bite out of her burger, in front of her was Jaune Arc sitting eating a salad while reading a book. An actual honest to gods BOOK not a COMIC book but an ACTUAL book, "You mean outside of him acting like a literal nerd right now?, Then yes, yes he is." Yang said chewing on some fries.

"You guys do know that he's in front of you right?." Ren asked jerking his head towards Jaune, where they all looked towards him reading a book. "I do find it strange that Arc would suddenly read a book. And I mean a real book, and not a COMIC book." Weiss commented while eating her salad, hearing that Jaune looked at her. "And what's that supposed to mean?." He asked.

"It's surprising, you know. We never really pegged you for the studious type." Blake now commented. "Yeah they're right Jauney!. You never did pick up a book, other than a comic book of course." Nora added while eating her pancakes. Jaune was about to reply but his partner spoke first, "Guys I think we shouldn't judge too much, perhaps Jaune had a reason why he didn't?." The red headed girl offered.

"Yeah sure let's go with that." Yang said standing up from her seat, "Anyway let's go to Doctor Oobleck's class, remember the last time someone was late?." The blonde brawlers said shivering at the memory. "So many words, little too fast...." Ruby grumbled, seeing that Jaune gave them a concerned look. "You guys are exaggerating right? There's no way it can't be that bad?."

Jaune said. And everyone's head slowly looked at him, their expressions all looking unhinged.

Oh how wrong be was, sitting there with an aghast expression on his face. In front of him was Doctor Bartholomew Oobleck, speeding across the board left right and centre. Talking and asking questions as if he's being chased by something. "-And that class is how the Faunus captured fort Montagne, any questions?." Said the good doctor. Many attempted to raise their hands but the sudden sound of the bell stopped their pitiful attempt for clarification.

"And that is all students see you all next week, and don't be absent I will have a random surprise quiz ready." The doctor said, sipping coffee from his thermos before suddenly dashing away in the halls. Leaving nothing but dust in his trails. Jaune looked at the open classroom door and asked a question everyone was asking.

"What is wrong with this school?"
