Lost Then Found

Blake looked up in the direction of a familiar voice, one that just saved her from being crushed by a container. And there she saw the person standing above the warehouse rooftop near them, a human being all they would see is the silhouette of a figure standing there. The person's azure blue eyes pierced through the night sky as the broken moon was directly behind them.

But not to Blake, there she saw someone who she least expected. "Jaune?" She called out to the one on the rooftop, not answering Jaune quickly jumped down and walked towards Blake and Sun. "Blake... You should've called, Yang and Ruby were worried. They- we were looking everywhere for you." Jaune replied as he looked at the girls' amber eyes. Before his gaze shifted towards the blonde faunus beside her, "And you... Thanks for keeping her safe." He nodded towards Sun who shrugged as scratched his head.

"And as for you." The blonde knight turned to Torchwick, "You wouldn't happen to be a fishmonger would you?." Jaune sarcastically remarked, Roman then popped his neck and twirled his can in response. "In a way I am, and what's it to you Mr?" Roman said "Arc, and no not really my business or anyone's business in any form of matter," Jaune replied courtly, making the gentleman thief nod. "Really? Then why did you interfere just now." Roman replied gripping his cane tightly in his hands and bending it.

"Because technically rounding up the stray is my business, now if you would kindly. I should bring them back now, their friends are worried you see." Jaune said with a mock grimace, Blake and Sun looked at him funny. As if he'd grown another head, "Are you seriously trying to negotiate right now?" Blake said to Jaune who turned to her. "Of course I do, you charged in here without a proper plan of action. Seriously Blake look around you, this container is full of dust. If a stray bullet hit one of those containers the authorities would be putting our remains in ziplock bags."

Jaune turned his attention back to Roman, "So what say you, Roman. Let us go and we'll pretend that nothing ever happened here, deal?" Jaune offered, Blake whipped her head at Jaune. "Jaune you can't be-!" Jaune put a finger on her lips, "sshh Blake, don't worry I know what I'm doing." He said now turning to Roman who gave a chuckle and a condescending laugh. "As much as I would like to Blondie, but I can't. Employers' want now witnesses on site, no matter how much we pretend that there weren't any they'd know anyway so let's cut to the chase, 'cause there ain't much reason to keep you alive." The thief said as two bullheads flew and hovered above them, with White Fang reinforcements jumping down the aircrafts.

And immediately the terrorists surrounded them, "And here I thought I could keep the peace, guess not." Jaune remarked unsheathing Crocea Mors and deploying the shield and went to a combat stance with Sun and Blake following suite. Roman gestured towards the White Fang to attack them, and immediately they charged towards the teenagers. Swinging their swords and shooting their guns. While Roman retreated unto a Bullhead.

"Guys he's getting away!" Sun yelled as he parried an attack with his staff. "Let him we got things to handle here." Jaune said as sliced a Fang members arm off, "Besides we'll get him next time," Jaune added as he threw another Fang member into another. While Blake gritted her teeth as she shot at the escaping Bullhead, but to no avail as the aircraft was already out of range. "No!" Blake cried out in frustration, "Guys I think we're getting overrun." Sun commented as he saw more Fang Bullheads going towards them.

"Blake we got to get out of here, and fast!." Jaune said towards Blake still staring towards the direction Torchwicks' Bullhead flew, while Jaune was trying to get Blake's attention a Fang member somehow managed to sneak up behind both of them, as the member was about to shoot them with a shotgun. The sound of a familiar sniper rifle echoed through out the night. Both Jaune and Blake turned around and saw the body of a collapsing Fang member on the ground, writhing in pain.

Both looked towards the direction where the shot came from, and on the rooftop of the warehouse a few meters from them they saw a familiar red cloak blowing in the breeze and a scythe shaped sniper rifle imbedded on the roof. With it's owner waving right at them, "Hey guys the cavalries here!, And looks like just in time too!." Ruby called out. "Ruby!!" Both Jaune and Blake called out, "Don't worry guys we bought back up!." Ruby added just in time as a large green energy beam fired towards the incoming White Fang Bullheads.

Making them crash on the ocean beside the docks, the trio that fought the Torchwick turned to the direction where the energy been came from and saw a girl with floating swords above her generating the energy beam. Making her ginger colored hair similar to Nora, and her gray skirt with green accents wave from the blast. "Is that Penny?" Blake asked confused as to what the girl she and her team met earlier the day doing here.

Jaune turned to Blake, "You know her?" He asked, and she nodded. "Yeah short story, when we chased Sun earlier he gave us a slip in an street. And when we turned we kinda bumped into her. With Weiss being more literal." She replied. As cop cars and VPD Bullheads arrive. Arresting the remaining White Fang members who quickly surrendered the moment they realized that they were outnumbered.

"So uh... Guess it's time for me to dip." Sun said as he slowly backed away, but Jaune called out to him "Hey Sun was it?, Thanks for looking out on Blake. I-we appreciate it, her team mostly." Jaune said, but the monkey faunus waved him off. "Nah it's always nice to help out a gal in need, by the way. Are you and Blake like you know, a thing?" Sun said pointing to the both of them, making Blake blush hearing him say that. "Me and Blake? Nah we're not, just friends. We basically just hang out because of both our teams dynamic and all that." Jaune denied, keeping his cool.

Hearing that Sun nodded. "Ok ok, cool. So uh yeah, I better go. I still have a call to make see ya!," Sun said running away from the scene just as the rest of Team JNPR and the two other members of Team RWBY arrive, "So what you two kids been up to?." Yang teased, "Oh you know, the usual chaos that teenagers would do in a sudden unplanned nights out." Jaune countered, earning a snort from his fellow blonde. "So anyway here's Blake." Jaune said gesturing to the aforementioned girl, who awkwardly shifted from her position.

"So yeah I'm leave you's three to kiss and make up, I'll be with my people." Jaune excused himself, and behind him he heard  thank you from Ruby. But he only replied with a wave, "So the prodigal son returns, tell me. What adventure and mischief did you find yourself in Jaune-Jaune." Nora bounced towards him enthusiastically. "I'll tell you tomorrow, or when we get back to Beacon. Because I am spent." Jaune replied to his hyperactive teammate.

"Yeah that's for the best." Pyrrha said, "And I'm glad you're safe and ok Jaune." The red headed champion added, hearing that he patted her on the shoulder. And continued to walk towards the Bullhead his team rode in. Not noticing the worried stare his teammates are giving him, "You guys also feel something odd's going on with Jaune?" Ren asked, but the only answer he got was silence.

Well I'm done with this chapter, and on to the next one. The only reason this got delayed this long was because I had to finish some school projects, or else I won't graduate for collage. Anyways I'm gonna start replying to some of the comments.

NoOneNeedsNumbers: "I haven't watched the real series so I don't really know if she really got burned that bad in the show but if it wasn't in the show then the author must've hated Weiss to come up with that"

Me:That burn wasn't in the show, and no I don't hate Weiss. It's just because in the show her blatant show of racism really had no form of consequences or no repercussions. Just an apology and suddenly everything she said was  forgiven. Meanwhile Blake an actual victim of oppression and a terrorist who is making amends is the only one feeling guilty. While Wiess being a snobby rich girl who's head is way up her own ass, who's family is the reason why Blake became a terrorist in the first place.
