Fayette knew something was wrong from the second she awoke with a yell and a bang. She lived in a small cottage that only had a small wooden bed with a thin mattress, a small table, cabinets, and a fireplace that heated the room and cooked her meat. The outhouse is outside.
She quickly crawled under her bed that had a small trapdoor underneath, quickly with shaky fingers she opened it. She heard the door slam once she silently closed the trapdoor. She hurried down the underground escape, they'd surely find the trapdoor due to the fact the humans like to leave no stone unturned.
The underground led out to a forest where she heard the multiple shouts of humans. She sucked in a breath and held it as she slowly backed away from the scene, trying not to be noticeable.
"There she is!" She froze once she heard that shout, she then fluttered her wings and started flying when she felt a pinch in her neck. Fayette didn't have to see it to know what it was.
A tranquil dart.
But tranquilizer darts don't work on fairies... She thought but realized that they must've had a witch poison the dart to make it affect fairies, what a powerful witch or warlock.
She crumbled to the ground with a whimper, her captors rushed and picked her up harshly and threw her in a bag. She is very small, about 5'1 so there was no problem fitting her in the bag. She cried out as pain shot up her body and black specks slowly clouded her vision, and then she went out like a light.
Fayette fluttered her eyes open when a searing pain was felt on her arm. She groaned and looked down at her arm where bold letters were printed in black

Tears rolled down her pale cheek, she was caught, with no escape.
