Chapter 11: Unloved

Juliett's POV

Curiously Reiji called for me this very evening and well here I am standing in front of his room.

' Guess I have to knock or he will literally burn me alive if I just barge in'

I knocked on the door and patiently waited for an answer.

" Come in" I heard a deep voice. I entered the room and saw Reiji on his lab preparing something.

' This is suspicious I should stay on guard'

" Good evening. Ayato told me you wanted to see. May I sit?" I asked pointing towards a single blue sofa.

" You may" He replied.

" I have never shared my tea with others but you are the only exception" He said with faint smirk. He pour tea in a white porcelain cup and give it to me. I stare at the good-looking tea, I grow more suspicious and I decided to smell it.

" Lame, did you really expect me to drink this tea with poison?" I said and put the cup on the coffee table.

" Mmm interesting,how did you know?" He asked.

" I have been in many tea ceremonies all of them smelled sweet and this tea smells bitter. So nice try but I will not fall on your traps, you will have to do a better than that" I said as I stood up.

"Now if that was all, I shall be leaving right now..." I told him and was about to turn around and leave but  I felt a cold hand grab my wrist.

Next thing I know is that my body is being pinned into the bookshelf behind me.

" Silence human, you should know your position. Don't talk to me like we are the same " He said.

" What? You vampires say that you are different from humans but like humans you eat, breath, talk, feel, hear and live" I said. I didn't hear any sound from him, he just stared at me. Then he move my hair to the side and bit me deeply. I grab his shirt and shut my eyes, I open my eyes and grab his arm and put it behind his back with inhuman strength.

" Don't you ever touch me got that?" I said with venom in my voice.

" Y-you are strong human but not smart" He said and break free from my grip then he grab my two arms in one hand putting them on my head. I stare daggers at him and move my head to the side, he grab my chin and made me look at him.

" If you were another human I will have definitely killed you a while ago but if its you I..." He said and looked at me with those beautiful pinkish eyes.

His face came closer and my heart beat faster, he stare at my eyes,nose and then my lips.

He stroke them with his gloved hand, the next thing he did left me shocked.

His cold lips were on mine... ' Why? Why are you doing this?" I thought. My eyes wide open when an scenario came to my eyes.

Young Reiji was watching Shuu with a woman that looked like his mother. ' He wanted to be perfect so his mother would noticed him' I thought.

Juliett's Pov

" Reiji you shouldn't hate Shuu and your mother, my father loved Yui more than me but..... I don't care I will always love Yui and my father" I said hugging Reiji and stroking his soft dark-purple hair.

Reiji's POV

She is....wrong, Beatrix never loved me,Shuu stole her attention from me and I was unloved. I contract Seiji to kill her so she noticed my existence , I remember when I saw her smiling...

Memory

" So it was you who killed me at the end.....I am satisfied " She said and closed her eyes smiling.

" Why are you smiling?! You should be suffering in pain! I will never forgive you mother" I screamed at her death body.

Reiji's Pov

I sighed and let Julie go, I pat her head and walk to my lab.

" You are dismissed " I said and return to my research.

Juliett's Pov

I bow and leave quietly, on my way I start feeling weak. I manage to go to my room and fall on my bed, my eyes felt heavy so I closed them and went to sleep.
