Alessandro's POV:

She went limp in my arms, as soon as Harley said she was fine I knew she wasn't. But she wouldn't want to talk about it, especially with me.

As she dragged herself into the car, I helped her and held her in the seat next to me. Next thing I know she passed out, she was hardly recognisable. Her face was covered in cuts, and bruises and a concerning amount of blood was drenching her dress. She lay there unconscious in my arms.

I had to leave her alone back there, I needed to get to a car, hot wire it, some how get it out the gates and pull it up front for our escape route. It took me longer than it usually would have. Volkov's men just kept coming after me over and over again. I knew Harley would be fine without me. I mean she is the Harley Valencia. She had everything handled when I was last with her... I had no idea she would get this hurt.

We drove past the gates Harley had exited a few moments ago and saw bodies scattered everywhere. There must had been about 31 men lying on the floor dead.

"31 men. Jesus Christ." I whispered to myself

The boys must've heard me because They looked just as shocked as I was.

"Thirty one?" Theo kept repeating.
" how did she manage to kill 31 men all by herself?"

"I'm not sure that is even humanly possible." Sage added.

"Is it bad I think that's kind of hot?" I asked looking down at the beaten girl in my arms.

Sage turned around and punched my arm, "you are so fucking messed up."

"What? Come on, 31 men that are twice her size, that's impressive." I continued to say.

"You need a lot of therapy man." Theo added.

We all sat there in silence taking in what we had just seen and experienced.

A while later Theo spoke up.

"so, you do you know we are in Russia right?"

Fuck I completely forgot we are far far away from home.

"Boss? What do you want to do from here?" Sage asked.

"Let's go to our families safe house. It's about 2 hours away from Moscow but it's the safest bet we have right now until I contact my father." I said as I stroked a strand of hair behind Harley's ear.

Fuck, why couldn't my life long enemy be ugly. Anything but her. I can't kill this face.

—————————————————

We had finally made it to the safe house after a two hour drive. I didn't wanna wake Harley up, so when we got there I picked her up in my arms and took her to my room. I needed to watch over her. Now that our short-term agreement of working together to get out of that place is over, I cannot trust that she wont wake up and try to leave immediately.

On the way over to the safe house, Harleys Dress she was wearing when she first met up with me in the restaurant was now soaked in blood. I couldn't find where all the blood was coming from at first and then I saw it. The blood was coming from her right side, near her ribs. We didn't have a first aid kit in the car we took so I took off my dress shirt and wrapped it around her chest trying to stop the bleeding. It worked, for now.

I had just put Harley down on my bed and walked over to my bathroom to clean the blood off my hands when I heard her starting to get up and ruffling in the bed. I walked out the bathroom and she was sitting upright with her head in her hands.

" Harley... we need to get this dress off. It is drenched in blood, and That just means you're hurt somewhere."

"I can do it. "She snapped and protested at me like expected.

Not giving into her I continued to walk over towards her.

"Please, Don't." She mumbled.

I looked at her straight in the eyes, and waited for her to move her hand. She eventually gave in. I Untied the shirt I had tied around her ribs and then took off her dress and slowly examined to find the cut on her torso that was still spilling blood. and then I saw it. A deep gash on her ribs.

"Harley..."

"It's not as bad as it looks." She lied.

Shaking my head I looked for the suture kit. I looked up at her knowing she knew what was coming next.

"I'm sorry, but that won't ever heal if we don't take care of it."

"I know. Just do it as fast as you can."

I gave Harley a T-shirt and some boxers I had around. She lifted the T-shirt up and lay on her side as I stitched up the cut. The first few stitches caused her to flinch, but by the sixth she had adjusted to the pain. I went as fast as I could, and then I cleaned the area around the cut.

After cleaning the cuts on her face and arms, I walked her over to the shower. Obviously I have never seen Harley like this or in this way, I turned around to leave but she grabbed my arm causing me to turn back towards her.

"Please Alessandro, please can you help me?" She looked up at me with nothing but pain in her eyes.

I nodded and helped her to get into the shower. She leaned onto me as I cleaned off the dry blood. Drying her off and getting her back into some fresh clothes I took her back to my bed.

The whole time she was silent.

"I'm sorry I left you alone" I guiltily said.

"It's ok" she whispered, turning onto the side that faced me, Off of her stitched side. "Just don't do it again. Okay?"

"Okay." I nodded. "How did this happen?"

She just looked at me.

"You are so reckless, you could've been a little more careful Harley." I said

"What's the matter baby? You don't think I look pretty like this?" She replied smirking.

the real Harley, The one who has a come back for everything and was sarcastic and teased me every time we saw each other was back, it was Only for a moment, but that didn't matter.

Shortly after Harley fell asleep, I watched her sleep for a while before I felt a wave of tiredness come over me. I was on one side of the bed and she was on the other. But when I woke up from a nightmare in the middle of our slumber She was in my arms again.

I never want to let go of her. Even if it's just for tonight. Even if she is the enemy, I couldn't help but hold onto her like my life depended on it.
