Satomi
I woke in the middle of the night for no reason. Looking at my phone, I found out that it was three o'clock in the morning. Exhausted, I turned off my phone, laid my arm on my eyes, and sighed. I can't fall back asleep. Too many things are running through my mind. I sat up straight and hugged my knees to my chest as confusing thoughts ran through my head. Siblings... I wonder what it's like to have them. I wonder who my parents were also. I just wanna know everything about me! I guess that's impossible as of now. Closing my eyes, I fell back into the bed taking a deep breath and letting it go. Time to go back to sleep...
"Hey." Hmm? Riki? "Wake up! It's urgent!" At the words urgent I snapped my eyes opened and sat up straight.
"Yes?!"
"Geez, calm down." he said holding his hands up. I took a deep breath and jumped out of bed looking at my phone to see the time. Six A.M.... Oh well... I walked into the bathroom and changed into regular clothes and followed Riki to Boss' room. Everybody was there standing around a coffee table where Takuto sat and typed on his laptop with a serious face.
"What's going on?" I asked looking at them as their faces shrouded with fear and seriousness. An uneasiness filled me up and flipped my stomach.
"Oh, um, nothing." said Hiro who was obviously hiding something.
"C'mon, tell me!"
"We just wanted to see if you were okay." said Kenshi with a smile.
I frowned. "Okay for what?. You can tell me. Pretty please?" I asked.
"I think we should just tell her." said Riki putting an arm on my shoulder. Boss sighed and nodded.
They all looked at me straight in the eye. "Satomi. We recieved a threat, and it included your name in it." My back stifffened and my eyes widened.
"Huh?" Takuto turned the computer so it faced me. He clicked his mouse over a video and it started playing showing nothing but blackness. It began to speak.
"This is Tanako Sanazaki, Satomi's older brother in Hamamatsu with the painting you're looking for. We, as in my dad, sister, and I, have been tracking her down for years and have been following her around ever since we've known she's been in Ginza." My brother and sister? And I'm being stalked?! "We also have another important key which is one of her younger sisters. We are also after the paintings and won't let you have them." The video ended and everybody looked somewhat down.
"I'm sorry Satomi." said Hiro earnestly.
"Yeah, sorry." apologized Kenshi. I shook my head.
"I don't know why you're apologizing for. I mean, it's not like it's your fault." Shock still flooded through me and a nervousness made my head hurt. My hands were shaking, so I hid them behind my back.
"It's alright to be afraid Satomi." said Kenshi.
"I know. It's just, wow. I just don't know. I thought I was clueless when I first met you guys, but now I'm even more mind boggled. Haha." I said laughing it off. The boys looked more depressed. "But I don't regret it."
"What?" asked Takuto in surprise.
"If I didn't ever lose my memory, if I never was chased by that motorcycle guy, and if I never saw you guys with the painting, I would've never met you. I don't want that." I replied with a smile.
