     Satomi

A week with nothing happening passed by.  I sat in LRN in the late afternoon calmly as I admired the phone Riki had given me a day ago.  It had a light pink that faded into a light blue.  Despite my protests, he just bought it and handed it over to me.  Is he really just a nice guy on the inside?  Or is he just trying to look good?  Thoughts swarmed around my mind as I gazed at it until Riki and Kenshi bust through the door with serious looks on their faces.  "Hey, are you okay-"  They cut me off by slamming a few documents on the table.

"Look at this!" yelled Kenshi excitedly.  Takuto who was peacefully sleeping and Hiro who had been sketching a picture snapped out of their own minds and walked over to examine the documents.  I, myself, scanned the papers full of apparently important information.  PAINTING OF THE ROSE IN GINZA AT KANZAKO MANSION.  ONLY INVITED GUESTS ALLOWED TO COME.  PAINTING BEING AUCTIONED OFF STARTING AT FIVE MILLION.  I stared at the paper in shock.  Is this a reason why I'm here?  To help them find what supposedly was my great grandfather's masterpiece that was dedicated to me by stealing other things?

"Wait, does this need my fingerprints?" I asked Takuto who was intently typing away at his laptop.

Looking up at me, he replied, "Probably not.  But he left clues for us to find his other paintings to find the last one."  I nodded and put my hand on my chin.  I see.  He told them to retrieve his other paintings so they could find his magnum opus.  Makes sense.  I guess.  Staring at the picture in the article, Hiro placed a finger on it.

"This is definitely the real picture of the real thing.  I betcha they don't plan on moving it from the mansion either." he said gravely.

"It's right here." said Takkun pointing to his screen.  "About thirty miles away."

"What?" I asked bewildered.  "That close?"  He nodded as if I was stupid.

"Yeah.  I mean it's in Ginza."  Well you don't have to say it that meanly.  I straightened my back.

"Say Boss.  It says the party will be held tomorrow.  We gotta move fast before it's gone." said Kenshi.  Boss, who was behind the counter, walked over and nodded.

"Alright!  Tonight we prepare and then tomorrow we leave and act as guests at the party." he said.

"But it said that only the invited can enter..." I murmured.

"That's why we have Takkun!  He can make us fake IDs and invitations."  Wow...

"Hey Leader, what's the plan?" Hiro asked.

"Let's see...  Takuto will stay in the van disabling the alarms, Kenshi and Hiro will hold up the auction with smoke bombs and turning off the light in the room where the auction will be held, and Satomi and I will go get the painting waiting in the room it is in.  Hiro and Kenshi will then run to the room and defend it from anyone." said Riki.

"Wait a minute.  You want HER to help you?!" asked Takuto in disbelief.

"She's safest with me." Riki replied confidently.  "Where is the painting in?"

"According to the blueprint of the house, it is in a electrified safe stuck to the wall in the attic." said Takuto typing away.  "There could be more traps also."

"Also, be aware that some of the mafia might be there.  If they are, they're probably going to threaten people violently with it." warned Boss.  The mafia?  Aka the Underground of Tokyo?  Somone other than us could get injured....  Children...  Innocent people....
