A new Chappy

Today's the day am going to Norway for my meeting.
I put on my floral colored shirt with trousers
I tied my Rolex oyster watch to my left wrist. And took a jacket because I know how the weather can be.
I took my tie and decided to take it to mami to knot it against tommorow .
Why not I should try it myself. I said to myself and sat down as I started knotting it. All this years since when I was in secondary school, mami knots my tie always. If I try knotting it, I end up wasting time and making it a disaster. I just had to buy the type that you don't need to knot it. It's already knotted you'll just hook it with your shirt or whatever. I didn't even know why I brought this type
You don't have all day to this. I said to myself as I was getting frustrated
"Khadija " my cousin came into the room
Khadija is my cousin( mami's niece and her twin sister's daughter.
She takes me as her favourite cousin because I once stayed in their house when I was in school.
Since when she was small, whenever they come to this house, she come to my room and rant my ears with noise and every time I have lollipop kept for her
When she was in jss1, that was when I was in final year university. Because I am older than her with ten years.
Since when I was staying in their house, she comes for counseling or assignments or forcing me to take her parks or for ice cream.
She became my best sister.
"Big bro! "She called snapping me out of my thoughts
"Uhhm". I said adjusting my tie
"C'mon this isn't how to knot it." She said pulling a stool from the vanity table. She climbed the stool and removed my tie.
"Shortie" I said laughing
"Hey am not short! "She whined
"Of course you are not short you are long short". I said laughing while we laughed together
"Perfecto" She said after she was done with the tie. She put it round my neck adjusting it.
"Hey am not putting it now" Am just knotting it against tommorow
"Yeah I know because I can see you are not wearing a suit am not blind"
"But why are you adjusting it while it's on my neck?"
"Nothing I just prefer knotting it when it's around someone's neck"
"Did you remember when I usually come her for holidays? Mami had to adjust tie for you before going to school because when you tie it, it looks like a disaster"
"How did you remember? I thought you were small at that time". I asked laughing
"Yup I was 5 but I have a sharp brain okay"
Says you....i was interrupted by muna dropping down the baskets of food stuffs

"Muna! Mami said you should please help take this foodstuffs to the car. I'll go collect the keys from Ya Naseer."Said Mimi coming into the kitchen.
"No wait let's go and get the keys together then we'll take it" I said not knowing why I said it.
"Okay let's go"
"Sooo. If I may ask how's between you and ya Naseer?"
Asked mimi as if scared to ask
I sighed " it's over Mimi. Everything is over since he doesn't want to marry me anymore"
