"Shibayama you need to be more careful when receiving without your pads, you're going to keep getting burned," Y/n lightly scolded as he tended to Shibayama's wounds, Yaku standing next to Y/n.
"Next time bring your pads," Yaku added with crossed arms.
Shibayama laughed a bit out of embarrassment, "Okay Senpais, I'm sorry for causing so much trouble," he said.
Yaku sighed as Y/n got up. Yaku patted Shibayama's head with a determined side smile. Shibayama's eyes slightly shined.
"Just don't forget alright? We don't want Y/n to be over worked because of your recklessness," Yaku said as he started to walk away.
Y/n laughed a bit at what Yaku said. He place his hand on Shibayama's shoulder with a reassuring smile.
"Don't mind him, Shibayama, he's just looking out for you like I am. We just want to make sure you protect yourself. Plus we can't have our liberos all out of commission," Y/n stated as he waved and walked towards Yaku.
Shibayama's eyes shined at Y/n's words. He softly patted where Yaku petted him. The two were like parents and he liked that. He will make sure Y/n stays in the club and help one of the others get with Y/n.
He liked Y/n's warmth, he wants Y/n's warmth. He doesn't want Y/n's romantic love, no no, he want's his caring-ness and kind words.
"Oi, L/n, I have a letter for you!" Nekomata shouted taking Y/n by surprise.
Y/n jogged up to the coach with confused eyes, "What's the letter about, Nekomata-San?" He asked.
Nekomata gave his usual cat smile and shrugged, "No clue, why not open it?" He gave Y/n the card.
The players started to surround Y/n as he looked at the card confusedly. The players narrowed their eyes at the heart in the middle of the card.
Yaku side glanced Nekomata. The older man chuckled a bit and made a shushing motion as he slightly pulled out a small dagger from his pocket to show it to Yaku. Yaku's eyes slightly widened but then he grinned a bit.
"'To Y/n L/n, From Unknown," Y/n read out loud, "Weird..."
Y/n started to rip the envelope open. A bit of pale yellow and pink poked out of it. He pulled out a paper that was rather simple with some heart designs on the edges and messy, quick handwriting.
"Dear Y/n, I have been seeing you from afar and I can't help but be interested in being your friend, or maybe something more. Ever since you came to Nekoma everyone's been talking about you and bully you. I'm not like that. Please give me a chance at being your friend so that we can get to know each other. The air around the players became tensed, but Y/n couldn't feel it, he just looked at the card in mild confusion.
