Chapter 5: A small problem

(Y/N's p.o.v.)
I slowly woke up in Lucifer's arms, his wings wrapped around me. I shifted and turned to him.
" Hello, my love." He said, smiling at me.
" Hey." I said, rubbing my eyes.
" Your little face is still red. I hope you aren't sick."
He placed a kiss on my forehead. I blush darkly and look up at him.
" H-How long was i asleep?"
" A few hours. Are you hungry?"
I went to sit up then felt dizzy. I clung to him amd he laid me back down.
" Stay here. I'll go get you some medicine and make you some soup."
I nodded then he showered me in kisses.
" L-Lucif-!"
He cupped my cheeks and his lips found mine. I melted as he slowly pulled away. He chuckled softly.
" Let me love you. Okay?"
I nodded then he went to the kitchen. I hid my face in my hands. My phone rang and i looked at it. Picking it up and saw my dad trying to call me. I groaned and answered.
" Hello?"
" Hey honey....how are you this morning?"
" Cut the crap, dad. What is it?"
It was silent for a moment then he sighed.
" Well, we have good news. We are coming home early and took a vacation time to be with you."
I froze and stuttered.
" W-When are you coming back??"
" Sometime tomorrow night and we'll be with you for a whole month."
I didn't answer.
" Honey??"
I felt arms wrap around me and Lucifer hung up the call.
"......Guess I have only two more nights with you."
I shake and look down.
" Ill come back every night. Don't worry."
I nod and lean into him. He chuckles and we have a good breakfast together. The day was peaceful enough, both of us playing games and messing around.
" Thats not fair!? How do you even cheat at go fish!?"
He chuckled smugly as he continued to get all the cards he needed to win.
" Mad, my dear?"
" You cheat!"
He raises an eyebrow at me. " (Y/N)... did you forget who your talking to?"

oh.....

"....Maybe I did....."
He let out a laugh when his phone rang.
" Hello?"
There was a pauses. " Charlie! So good to hear from you my dear!"
Another pause.
" What about your mother?.....okay I'll be there in just a moment."
As he hung up, he turned to me.
" Ill be back....an issue has come up."
He vanishes before I can get a word in.

I wonder what happened?

(Lucifer's p.o.v.)
When I got to Charlie's hotel, I walked in and saw Lilith fighting with Charlie.
'' What is going on here!?"
They turned to me as i walked over.
" Charlie are you alright?"
" Yes.....we're fine."
" Lilith! Have you gone mad! You could have seriously hurt her!"
Lilth glared at me with sneer.
" Where have you been!?"
" I told you where I was! I went to the human world!"
" And what gone for days!"
" Because you said something that was beyond cruel to me! Now enough!"
I turned my attention back to Charlie and walked to Charlie.
" Charlie are you okay, dear?"
" We're okay dad, don't worry."
I looked them all over then dragged Lilith out of the hotel.
" What the blazes is wrong with you!?"
" I worried about you!"
" So you took your anger and frustration out on our daughter!? Get a grip!"
I left again, trying to get back to (y/n) as quickly as I could, to enjoy what time we had together still. When I got back, (y/n) waved to me.
" Hello my dear."
" Hey, what happened?"
" Just some issues at my daughter's hotel."
She smiles and nods.
" If you say so."

Author's note: hi you guys! Sorry for the short chapter, but I'm taking a step away from the hazbin hotel books for a second to focus on other books I've been dying to make. I won't be stopping these stories but I am taking a break from them. I love you all and be safe
