chapter 11: wedding plans

Months passed since Lucifer told me the role I would play in hell, and turns out, helping him judge the souls and picking where they should wasn't that hard. Lucifer and I decided that souls who didn't do the most horrible things where sent to Charlie's hotel, to see if she could help them. Lilith was also sending letters of....many different kinds. Some were death threats, others were begging and pleads to come take her back. Lucifer always ripped them up. I was glad that he chose me....but I also felt guilty.

Lucifer had to always remind me their marriage wasn't great and was falling apart, that I wasn't the only thing to blame....but I still felt guilty. After working together, Lucifer and I walked around the castle.
" What would you like to do love?"
" How about we head to the gardan?"
Jessabell followed us, moewing and purring, as if agreeing with me. Lucifer laughed and gave us both a nod.
" Two against one is hardly fair girls."
I gave a victorious grin as we headed to the garden. Roses were starting to bloom and as I looked around, something crossed my mind.

I was the queen of hell, I was with Lucifer....but we weren't technically married to him. I turned to Lucifer, who was playing with our kitten.
" Lucifer?"
" Yes, my dear?"
".....can we get married here in the rose gardan?"
He turned to me quickly.
" You....want to get married to me?"
" Well duh, Lucifer. I love you."
He was silent for a moment then gave a chuckle.
" Alright. Then we will."
I smiled from ear to ear, hugging him tight.
" I get a planner, my dear, and get you a dress maker."
I nodded as he stood, Jessabell jumping into my lap. As he walked away she moewed up to me. I pet her head and stood, holding her in my arms. As I walked inside I wrote a letter to Charlie, inviting her and her friends to the wedding and had it sent out. I sighed heavily and walked back to mine and Lucifer's room. I hope Charlie comes, I'd like to see her and her friends again.

(Charlie's p.o.v.)
The morning was busy as new demons came to the hotel. Dad and....(y/n) had this plan in place where souls had only smaller sins, that they be sent here. There was more than I thought there would be.
" Yo, Charlie!" Angel called "There's a letter for you and Vaggie!"
I went over and opened it up. When I saw the beautiful handwriting, I instantly knew who it was from. As I read it, I tensed up and handed the letter back.
" What's up, princess?"
" Dad and (y/n) are getting married..."
" What marvelous news!" Alastor smiled.
Angel read the letter and a smile soon spread across his face as well.
" It says we're all invited!"
" All have to go find my best suit." Alastor grinned, rushing up the stairs.
Angel followed close behind.
" isn't that great hon?"
I shrugged, rubbing my arm uncomfortablely.
" Charlie..."
" I'll go, okay. I just don't know how I feel about it..."
Vaggie placed a hand on my shoulder.
" All she wants is for you to like her, or at the very least tolerate her. You can do that."
I nodded and sighed
" Okay....okay. let's go get ready, it'll be happening tomorrow. Dad's quick about setting these things up."
Vaggie smiled and gave me a nod.
" Okay, sounds good."
Vaggie and I went upstairs and got packed for the over night stay.

She's trying to be nice...she's a sweet person....she makes dad happy....

That's what I kept telling myself as I packed. We all left in the limo, heading to the Castel I use to call home. Vaggie and the others talked and theorized where the wedding would be at in the castle and what (y/n's) dress would look, about the cake and whatever else.
They looked so happy as they talked.

I am not calling (y/n) mom...

When we reached the castle, dad greeted us. When I stepped out, he opened his arms and gave me a hug.
" Hello, my dear! I'm so glad you could make it!"
" Sure thing dad..."
" (y/n) will be so happy to see you all! Please come in."
We all walked in and saw planners everywhere.
" So, where's the wedding gonna be at?"
" She wanted to have it in the rose gardan. Why don't you all go to your rooms and get comfortable? I'll check in on all of you later."
We all gave nods and headed for our rooms.
