Kaidan walked through the Citadel, taking in the sights. A small child, a girl, strode behind him. He was nearing the Human Embassy. He walked in, said hello to a secretary, and walked into Anderson's office. All the original crew of the Normandy was here. Except for Shepard. Kaidan felt a tear stream down his cheek. He brushed it away and walked towards the booth. They all looked at him. "You guys know that Shepard and I were close." They nodded. Tali said, "And?" " We adopted a child, before the Reapers hit. We named her Hannah." " Like his mother," said Liara. The girl stepped out from behind him. Joker gasped. " Kaidan, you weren't kidding," said Joker.
