I heard a loud knock on my door. I turned to the other side of my bed, taking the sheets with me. I stood up half awake and dragged my feet towards the door. "Who is it?" I yawned.

It was Tony. "Woah what happened to your hair?" was the first thing he asked.

"'Good morning Y/N, how was your sleep?' is what you should've asked dum-dum." I replied, teasingly.

"I'm sorry. It's 11 am, I've been waiting for an hour outside and it's so hot." said Stark while he entered my apartment, looking around for something to cool him down. He opened my freezer and took a bag of frozen peas out, placing them on his forehead.

All I did was stare. What made this guy so comfortable around me? I adjusted my eyes to the lighting and felt embarrassed because my room was messy. I'm not a very motivated person.

"Oh, I got distracted. Get ready, we're going to the police station." expressed Tony, while he was still holding the bag of frozen peas on his face.

I rifled through my closet for something to wear. I took the three usual things I wear. grey sweatpants, a simple t-shirt and my sports shoes. I wore them and looked at myself in the mirror, making sure my shirt isn't wrinkled or smells bad, since I don't even have a wash machine in my flat. I noticed that I had a REALLY BAD cowlick hair on the right side of my hairline. I put some hairspray where it was, praying  for it to stay like that.

"I'm ready." I smiled at mister Stark.

He nodded and opened the door for me. He led me to his car, amazing me by how modern and expensive it looked. I couldn't fully see the car yesterday night, so seeing it in it's full form was making me question if it was the same car I sat on.

He drove us to the closest police station, but before he parked, he asked me "Would you like to work for me? I'll buy you a new car."

While shocked, I said "Uh. Work as what? Because all I know to do is make drinks and fight. You don't want me to be your body guard, do you?"

"No silly, I'm having an evening party in two days for the avengers and want you to be the barista. I'll pay you good, including the car." finished his sentence, and parked his car.

"Oh my god, yes. I mean- YES! It would be an honor!" I brushed a smile that also made him smile back.

"Why did you park either way? We won't go to the police station." I added to my sentence.

"I thought you'd have lunch with me. Do you mind?" he gestured me to move back to my seat and laid his hand in-front of me, opening the car tapestry's box. He took a paper bag out and opened it in-front of me. "Here's some money. I give you an hour to get yourself something to wear on the party."

"But I'll be the barista, not the party guest, smarty pants."

"Whatever, whatever. Just buy yourself a nice dress." exclaimed Tony, while he moved his hands here and there.

"The food is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. How do you know of such nice places?" I asked Stark, while I was pressing my mouth corners with a napkin.

"Experience, darling." joked Tony, while he held eye contact with me.

I felt reassured every time I looked into his eyes and he looked back. It's like that moment when you smell something that brings you happy childhood memories.

"Seems like you won't eat the last dumpling that is on your plate. Can I have it?" asked Tony, snapping me back to my physical body.

"Yes sir, yes sir!" I caused him chuckle.
