We looked everywhere, and still no sight of them. I took a deep breath and a sudden thought hit my head. How couldn't I think of this earlier?

"How stupid could I be? " I mumbled to myself.

"What is it?" asked Tony as he turned to face me.

"We can use our phones to call them. I heard Cap mention going out." I physically slapped my forehead.

Tony unlocked his see-through high tech phone praying for my idea to work and pressed 'call' on Steve's contact.

Nothing. Not even a voicemail.

"Now this makes me worry more." I exclaimed.

"I'll call one more time."

Tony's hands started shaking after what seemed like 10 unsuccessful attempts. I'm afraid he's having a panic attack. As for me... It felt like my surroundings were dissolving, leading me to a dark and cold room.

"Tony." I placed my hand on his shoulder but he chose to bend down and sat on the floor.

There's no way the Avengers are dead.

"Tony, don't be negative about it. They're probably out for a walk."

"And how long is that walk going to last? It has been three hours Y/N, three.." stated Stark, as he tried to hide the fact that he had trouble breathing or even.. Functioning.

I sat down with him, looking at him face to face. He, of course tried to look away.

I also wasn't ready. Over the week, I met so many wonderful people. And it hurt to lose them in the beginning of our growing relationships.

A tear started rolling down my cheek. Stark was gazing at the corner, not saying a thing.

He slowly stood up and sniffed his running nose. "They were my only friends."

"And they still ARE your friends." I corrected Stark.

"Can't you see that they're gone?.. Even if they went out, they would've told us! Or at-least JARVIS would inform me about them leaving. It's like they disappeared into thin air."

I stood there in silence. I had no idea of what to say next. I couldn't keep the pain in anymore so, I bursted out crying.

I feel weak whenever I cry. My father taught me that, the hard way. Every time I failed on something, he would treat me like a stranger.

"You're not my daughter if you keep going to your friend's parties! You're going to be an engineer so, be one!"Is what I started hearing from my memories. That's the saying my dad kept repeating, over and over again.

Everyone expected me to be successful and rich as my father, but I never got into the same steps as him. When he heard that I didn't graduate, he never talked to me again.

I snapped back into this reality, noticing myself crying more and more. Tony just stared. Not knowing what to do, he left and walked to his room.

-time skip because I'm bad with emotional scenes-

"3 weeks later; crime percentages have gotten 60% up, causing mini purges around the country. After most of the Avenger's sudden disappearance, Tony Stark known as Iron-Man and the newest member Y/N L/N have not been seen in action so far. Back to you, Johnny-"

I turned off the television. Surrounded by pillows and blankets, I struggled to get up from the sofa. Once I did, I felt a little hazy for a few seconds until I got on my track.
