Sarah's POV

I start to walk away, a smile spreading across my face, but then he stops me.
"Hey! I don't believe I caught your name!!"
"My name is Sarah! What's yours?"
"Jackson!"
Well Jackson, you'll soon be mine..
I walk into class feeling a bit conflicted. Am I going to have to choose between them? I hope not, Jackson is so hot!

Ethan's POV

I have to get rid of this guy, I just became interested in a new girl and there's already competition!! I walk into class and notice Jackson standing in the front, I'm so glad there's an empty seat next to me. "Hey man, why don't you sit next to me?" I ask. He smiles eagerly and sits down.
"Thanks bro, I didn't know where to sit. My name is Jackson by the way! I have a feeling I'll be popular around here!" He says.
"Why would you say that? I mean- you aren't that cool or anything!" I blurt out, I may sound a bit mean but my goal is to bruise his ego a bit.
"Oh- well uh.. I got this cute girl's phone number! Her name starts with an S, gosh I can't remember it! I think it was.."
"Sarah?"
"Yeah, Sarah! How did you know? Is she popular or something?"
"Listen here man, Sarah is mine, you better back off!"
"Oh- I had no idea she had a boyfriend! Well, I'll just have to shoot my shot once you break up then! Have fun with her while you still can!" He says and winks at me. I can't believe him!! That asshole, now I really need to claim Sarah! This is so stupid, I wish I had realized I liked her before!!
He pulls out his phone and starts texting someone, I can't help but peek. My face burns with anger when I see he's texting Sarah, what am I supposed to do about this?! I know, I'll text her too!!

Sarah's POV

My phone buzzes and I pick it up. Two texts, one from Jackson and one from Ethan! Gosh, I don't know who to text first, I should probably go for Jackson because I haven't talked to him before! His text reads, "hey cutie, did you think I wouldn't notice you slipping your number in between my books? ;)" I blush and respond, "Oh, well I hoped you would notice, and it seems you couldn't get me out of your head!"
       "Hmm, well I would've texted you sooner but I was upset about the fact you already have a boyfriend </3" Wait- what? A boyfriend?
       "Pfft, I wish I had a boyfriend!"
       "What? Isn't Ethan your boyfriend?" Ethan?? I mean- I guess I like him but he's definitely not my boyfriend!!
       "Um- Ethan is just a friend.."

Jackson's POV

"Um- Ethan is just a friend.." hell yeah! Now I can make my move today!!
       "Looks like your girlfriend doesn't feel the same way!" I say while flashing my phone at Ethan. He grabs it and stares in disbelief, then turns towards me and punches me right in the face.
"What the hell man?! Are you jealous or something?" I yell. He shrugs and walks off, now I'm definitely going to make it my goal to get with Sarah!

Ethan's POV

I don't know what's up with me, I'm not usually like this! I mean- punching the new kid just because he likes this random girl?! I'm going insane! The worst part about this isn't even the fact that I punched a kid, it's the fact that Sarah hasn't even responded to me yet!!

Sarah's POV

What the heck?! I know I should be excited that people would think that Ethan's my boyfriend but why? I haven't even talked to Ethan all day?! What am I supposed to do now, is he going around telling people that we're dating or something? I'll just have to meet with him again after school I guess..

"So, if Ethan's just a friend, wanna meet after school today? ;)" A message from Jackson!

"ofc cutie, let's meet!" I guess I'll just have to hypnotize them both after school today! How did my life even turn into this?! I open up my phone and read the message from Ethan. Completely ignoring it, I text "Meet me at our spot after school today." as I shift my attention to what's being taught.

Ethan's POV

As I walk around the hallway aimlessly, I get a notification. It's from Sarah!! It reads, "Meet me at our spot after school today." Oh shit, am I in trouble?! Oh well, I guess I'll just have to find out after school!!

Time skip (after school)

I gather my stuff from my locker and head to "our spot". I hadn't given much thought about it earlier, but what did she even mean by that? I'm pretty sure Sarah and I don't even have a spot.. I mean- we don't even hang out, right? There must be something I'm missing, all day I've felt like I've been forgetting something, what could it be?!

Even though I don't remember Sarah and I having a place, it's almost like my legs just magically take me to this.. abandoned building? I sit down in the chair conveniently placed in the middle of the room and wait patiently for Sarah to arrive.

Jackson's POV

I gather my stuff from my lockers as Sarah walks up to me. Gosh, she's stunning! I close my locker and smile, "What's up?" I say, trying to sound as cool as I possibly can.

"Well, I never told you where or when we should meet, so I figured I should just show you!" She says. I nod and we walk out of the school holding hands.

Haha that's the end of this chapter, but thanks for reading this far! I'm definitely not an author and it's great to know so many people enjoy reading my stories!! :) I started writing this story a few years ago, I can't believe it's still going! School just ended for me, so I should be able to upload more! And remember, I won't abandon this story with no notice so even if it's been a long time don't worry!! I love all of you guys!! (I can't respond to comments or dms because it won't let me re-sync my email but I do read them and I can answer questions in this little section of my chapters if asked to!! I also might do a Q+A soon because of the number of questions I get dmed to me!!"
